Ahh Lucky’s lounge. Its the weirdest place on earth. The music is way too loud, the DJ mixes rap songs from 1998, and over all its such a bizarre place. I love it. Everyone ends up here at the end of the night. The bar tenders are great, the manager is really nice too. I end up saying«this is so weird, why are we still here«but never leave. Just check it out. Here’s a good example of what I mean by weird… On Halloween the only one on the dancefloor was a guy dressed as a rabbi slam dancing to turn down for what?! It was like I died and was stuck in purgatory. Just go

While they play possibly the worst music i have ever heard in my life and there has been an extension cord running through a puddle in the back for the past month or so, this is possibly the best dive bar in the heights. Its always a strange and surreal experience, the drinks are average price and the bartenders are friendly. I wish there were more people in there to share in the weirdness of it, but maybe it wouldnt be as cool if people showed up.

Got here at around 830ish. Dead, but it was an experience. Owner and bartender were extremely courteous and informative. Friendly atmosphere and when it turns busy, definitely worth the stop by. Get a round and stay a while.

I love lucky’s. I have ever since I walked through that old fashion bar door. The place is dark, but not too dark. The bar staff is friendly and attentive, and they always make you laugh. There is always a pool table available, because they are sort of exclusive. Not in the technical sense, but only a handful have tasted this spicy spot. The décor is pretty typical, but exciting. I love when the floors are illuminated with colored lights. Flashing everywhere. They always have great music playing. I was a little surprised about the bartender having such a extensive knowledge of the trendiest drinks, but I was all the more appreciative. The place is cozy and inviting, AND these guys have a karaōke. Definitely one of the best dive bars in the heights.

It’s a change of pace from Dirty Bourbon next door. There are two sides. Pool tables and what not on one side and tables and the bar on the other. Pool table side played 80’s rock. Bar side had a dj mixing all kinds of rap music, new and old. The prices were ok. Nothing special but not ripping you off. The clientele was quite mixed. I think it was regulars and overflow from DB. I had a pretty good time for a dive bar. In the end we just went to Dirty Bourbon’s though…

One of the better dive bars in the NE Heights. Friendly staff, cheap drinks, a motley crew.
