Mark Pardo Salon Spa

Nope. Never again. Someone there cut my hair unevenly. I asked for the manager, but the person at the cash register refused to let me see the manager or tell me the manager’s name. I left and came back the next day, and still no manager. I was told that I would get a to-​do for free. Problem was nobody told the second stylist, and she refused to do the to-​do because I don’t think she got paid. Big argument.

Love Aveda for so many reasons. I found this gem when I moved to Nob Hill. Service and atmosphere is perfect for a day of pampering. Celine Starkovich is the best colorist /​stylist in Nob Hill.

Horrible experience! I went in for a simple trim and color. Rather than the medium ash brown I selected (and have used for years), my hair was jet black. After I spoke to the manager it appeared as if the stylist added black to the ash brown dye. In an attempt to rectify the problem, Mark Pardo offered to «fix» the color. They ended up bleaching my hair in order to get it back to a medium ash brown. I left the salon with orange hair and huge chunks of blonde in the back. It has been an absolute nightmare– a costly one at that! After this experience, I contacted the store manager and eventually someone from the corporate office who refunded the cost of the initial cut and color. However, It has now been over 6 months and my hair is still recovering. I have to dye my hair every 4 – 6 weeks to coverup the still evident blonde patches and overall orange tint. In addition to the cost (both monetary and time), my hair is completely damage from the bleaching and over processing. I would absolutely NOT recommend Mark Pardo Salon to anyone looking for a seemingly simple hair color.

I have been going to Suni for years and have always had a great experience. Today however, from the moment I walked in until I left was just, wow. I was seen right away by her assistant, and my scalp massage started almost immediately. Her assistant made sure I constantly had water and kept things moving. In addition to curling my hair for me, I also left with appointments for my next cuts, and an updo on the westside. Cati even had to call that location to book it for me. Everything was so efficient and extra special today. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The reasons why I love this place because of its shampoo conditioner and body oils and body lotion. I think the owner of this establishment is more than generous because you can go in and ask for a sample of any lotions creams our body oils and they will give you a sample that can last you for a while. I think this place is all of that and more than it can be and should be so I recommend that you go and try out this salon and spa it is the best

Jonathan did an amazing AMAZING job with my hair color. Just moving to the area and having a history of blonde hair coloring disasters, I was super worried about finding a new salon. My Philly Aveda salon rocked and so I looked first to Aveda… so glad I did and found Jonathan. He was really personable, knowledgeable, and managed to get my naturally dark locks an incredible shade of white blonde. That takes talent! Thanks Jonathan! Highly recommend.
P. S. — Also, great location in Nob Hill, easy to find parking and got to grab a coffee at Starbucks afterwards.

I was a walk in and not from here. I told them what I needed (low light and hair cut short). I only waited a few minutes and was taken in, offered tea or water, and put in the chair for a wonderful experience. She didn’t blink when she took 7 ½″ off my hair. It is what I wanted and she didn’t try to talk me out of it. They seem like a very busy salon, but were willing to take me in. I am very happy with the results.

Mark Pardo Salon is the best in Albuquerque! Marion does an amazing job every single time. She remembers me, and she does a fantastic job making my hair look great. Not only that, but she makes each experience awesome. I feel awesome every time I see her, and my boyfriend loves how I look! Marion is extremely amazing at her job, and she makes me feel right at home. I will continue to recommend her name and the salon to everyone that asks me for a great haircut! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Jay makes my wife look hot! She is a regular customer of his, and the color and cut just plain works. I’m not sure how the price compares to other salons, but who cares.

In town on business and needed a cut. Booked an appointment with Lyndsey, and it was awesome. Great atmosphere and the cut was superb, definitely recommend! Price was average for a nice salon, $ 32.

Best men’s haircut in town!
After going to a standard men’s barber for years, I decided to try Aveda in Nob Hill. 2 years later, I couldn’t be happier. Here they actually listen to what you’re asking for instead of jumping into the stadard «fade». Not only that but they actually cut your hair and not just with trimmers!
Overall, I can’t imagine going anywhere else or having anyone but Lyndsey cut my hair! A definite must-​go if you want a great cut at a good price (approx. $ 32)
