Évaluation du lieu : 3 Albuquerque, NM
I’m really surprised that I’m the first reviewer, considering how popular this restaurant is. We went on a Saturday evening around 5:30, and within 20 minutes of our seating, every table was full and there was a line of waiting people out the door. These guys know how to cook lamb. The tagine of Mediterranean lamb with garbanzos was marvelous, tender and not at all gamey. The Chicken Couscous was not quite as stellar; the meat was somewhat bland, but tender and juicy. The Moroccan mint tea($ 3 with unlimited refills) was a perfect taste accompaniment. Child #1 scarfed down a Gyros plate without even offering the adults a taste, so we’re assuming it was good. Child #2 toyed with her delicious harira soup(tomato and garbanzo with bulghur wheat), picking out the whole garbanzos and leaving the soup, so the adults finished it for her. Desserts are tasty if not particular inspired. Baklava is always on the menu, and this time the second offering was cheesecake. We got one of each to share. The desserts are yummy but expensive($ 5 each) for the amount you get. Next time we’ll skip the dessert. Yay! Moroccan food in Albuquerque! We’ll be back soon.
