I’ve been going to chiropractors for decades all over the country, everyone has their own style; I can’t get along with Dr. McGowan’s style. Everywhere else I’ve been, moist heat was applied pre-adj, not here — he recommends only ice. I’m not a fan of the«push and retract» table, it is too jarring especially on a cold back. Xrays will be taken on initial visit, but explanation of findings could be more in depth and focused. The real negative was on a return visit when my lower lumbar were hitching up, the adj left me unable to even bend. He re-adj’d me for no charge, but to come out worse than when one went in? That’s just not kosher.
