Mesa Verde Apartments

I lived in Mesa Verde Apartments for two years. Sept. 2009 to Sept. 2011. I found the office staff to be very pleasant and easy to communicate with, and the maintenance crew to be outstanding and very helpful!
The apartment complex itself was always clean and tidy, the laundry facilities were very accessible, and the small gym had just the right equipment to keep one in shape over the cooler winter.
I had two pets that I was able to move in with me and that in itself was HUGE! Do you know how hard it is to find some place that accepts pets? Well Mesa Verde Apartments does and I never had any trouble, ever!
If I had to move back to Albuquerque I would definitely give them a call to see what they had available.

I lived in the Mesa Verde Apartments (owned by Simpson Properties) from 2003 to 2007. The condition of the apartments were okay and the prices were reasonable. The problem that I had with them was moving out. No matter how well you cleaned or kept your apartment you can forget ever getting your deposit back. In my case they even charged me extra to replace the carpet for stains that didn’t exist. If you try to fight it management will not listen to you and instantly report you to collections. I’ve heard of similar stories from other residents that were moving out. Also lots of vehicles were being broken into while I was living there. Security patrols rarely came onto the premises or when they did you could find them typically asleep in their cars. My recommendation is DO NOT MOVE HERE!
