The absolute best BBQ you will ever put in your mouth!!! If you can find him… STOP and get some food!!! This guy obviously takes great pride in preparing deliciousness!!! The turkey legs are so yummy but the piece de resistance would have to be the hot link sandwich WITH pulled pork on top!!! What!!! Amazing!!! If he has chicken… I promise you have never had a more moist chicken breast in your life!!! Plus he’s super nice. He’s been at the brew pubs at night lately… whatever you do find him and get some eats!!!

The Bar-B-Que is not bad, but THECHICKENLEGSARETODIEFOR!!! Holy schmolly I have never eaten such good BBQ chicken! I am to the point where I only order chicken legs(side and a drink of course). I wish I could run into him more often, but I only see him driving through car dealerships on Lomas… I just looked on FaceBook and he posts his daily locations there. Thank goodness, now I can chase him down and have those OUTOFTHISWORLDBBQ chicken legs!

Stalk this guy wherever he is throughout town! Don’t let those fancy trucks fool you, Theo provided a legit smoker you can see and smell. The best pulled pork I’ve ever had! Find this guy and let him recommend something, you won’t regret it!

I’m about to go try him today but where would I find him? Not sure if the directions on here are current and that’s where he is at now or what. Thank you!

Dear Sweet Jesus: thank you for blessing me with Nomad’s BBQ. The end. it had been much too long since my last date with Nomad’s, so i tracked him down to La Cumbre on a thursday night… oh dear me, that smoky goodness, I ordered one pulled pork sandwich and immediately had regrets of not ordering two– of course, as the«oh gawd, I’m stuffed!» feeling set in about 10min after the last bite, I suppose that was a wise move. Thanks Theo, that there is some damn fine smokey goodness!

Maybe I’m not very well-versed on the difference between good ol’ BBQ vs. seriously smoky meats, I’ll state that there is a difference. Nomad’s is the latter variety, and it’s pretty darn good. It was a Thursday night, Tractor was about to close the place up, and Nomads(yet another business where the apostrophe really shouldn’t be there) cooked up a pretty astonishing blend of meat and hot links. Mmm, mmm good, especially alongside a sippable glass of barley wine. As Nat stated, this thing is a smoker pulled by a truck, the kind of Burque bustle that could die trying or find a solid home in due time. Again, I’m hoping for the latter. The guy manning this thing totally knows what he’s doing and the meats moo for themselves. If Nomads comes your way, know that sustenance is in your future. It’s smokey good.

We stumbled upon Nomad’s on our way into the Tractor 4th street location. It was a crazy windy day and we could smell the smoked goods from our car! The man and woman that own Nomad’s were pleasant and inviting. It’s literally a small truck with a smoker attached to the back. He had sausage, smoked turkey legs, and beef and pork brisket available. The prices ranged from $ 5-$ 7. I got a smoked turkey leg while my hub had the beef brisket sandwich. Nomad told me to give the turkey the leg the 3 – 4 shake test. Basically, he was telling me to shake the turkey leg and the meat would literally fall off. And that’s exactly what it did! It was smokey and filled with flavor. Absolutely delicious. Definitely the best turkey leg I’ve ever had. I think what set it apart was the flavor and the moist meat. The beer brisket sandwich was also very good. Both meals were big and worth the $. If I saw Nomad’s again, I’d run over and grab some more food for sure!

Hello BBQ sandwiches! Pulled pork, and hot links are my favorite. Usually 5 – 7 dollars. A smoker pulled by a truck or a RV beholds magical smoke laden meat, I think my favorite are the hot links. The first time we met it was dark and I was pub crawling in Nob Hill. My coworker said he has the good S&%T. We finished a shot at the stinky B.O. and cheap cologne laden Monte Vista, then headed for the rave space ship interior of Imbibe. We finished out beer and headed home. Hunger struck, and man was I glad that this beacon of glory held fast on the street. We got our foil wrapped parcels back home and devoured the carnivore goodness like hungry wolves. I hope he sells out every night.
