There are lots of baked goods to choose from – cookies, pies, bread, cannolis, etc… There was discounted day old bread. They also offer energy drinks and bottled coffee drinks. I tried a Napoleon. It was kinda mushy and had jam in it. Yuck – that went right in the trash. Diet win! The refrigerated beverage case had a unique feature. One of the glass doors was broken out which, I imagine, diminishes its cooling effect. Perhaps avoid milk items there. The employee sneezed in her hand and didn’t wash after, so that left me with the uncomfortable feeling I may have gotten a little extra somethin somethin in the Napoleon. Prices were good. Lot parking is available right out front.

Love this bakery! Small retail area full of yummy treats to choose from. I bring my kids here once a week and let them pick out their own treat. Sandy is always super nice! They were very accommodating of my son’s food allergies when I ordered a cake from here. Check out their half off bread racks and the cooler with day old stuff. I tend to get their cupcakes but I’ve yet to encounter anything here I haven’t loved. Enjoy!

Was calling to inquire about Italian sweetbread specifically called«Panettone» the person answering had no idea & laughed at my question… my response to her, «do you even know what it is», her uneducated reply«no we carry mainly German items» which their bakery has no indication that they a specialty bakery shop, I than asked her if they carry Challah bread«Jewish» bread she said yes… So my response to her is…” oh, okay so you carry mainly German bake items… well«Challah» bread is Jewish, so your not just selling mainly German baked items… I get no response from her and she hangs up on me! Please don’t be upset with me if you are uneducated and you are not a skilled baker and cannot identify what you specialize in or what types of breads you are even familiar with! At least be honest with yourself that you have no idea & are clueless, because I do understand that this city is small & does not have a large multi cultural diverse community! Please Pastian’s Bakery stick to the basics for your little baker«chocolate chip cookies»

I can’t fully describe the sheer deliciousness of Pastian’s in mere words. But I will try. Simply. Freaking. Amazing! We visit New Mexico a lot to see family, so believe me — we’ve tried plenty of biscochitos. Pastian’s has the best biscochitos in town, and that isn’t an exaggeration. The only reason it gets a four-star review is because I once tried to ask an employee if they used lard in their baked goods, and she got pretty snappy with me. Other than that, you can’t go wrong with Pastian’s!

I really need to help get this business our there to the masses in Albuquerque. I found this place by accident, my buddy owns a car shop next door, I went in to see what they had and oh my!!! Pies, cookies, pastries, fresh made bread, oh the humanity. My family loves deserts, and more people should try this place, better than places that charge 3 times more here in Albuquerque. Great place to pick up deserts for the holidays.
