TL; DR don’t bring kids! but great for ADULTS who can smile after LONGWAIT I’ve used this place several times before… it’s was«OK» but has gone downhill the last two times i’ve been and can’t recommend it anymore. This last experience was particularly painful, we had an APPOINTMENT and not only were we kept waiting for half an hour after we got there… no hold that thought…30 minute wait might not seem long for oh… graduation photos, or anniversary photos, but with a 4 year old and a 9 month old… that’s straight up ETERNITY… then we get back and start taking photos. by that time the 9 month old is tired and cranky… next up another 30 minute wait for the 2nd room. we still have the 2nd room and then the hard sell up. by this time the 4 year old is giving us fits and the 9 month old is exhausted then a walk in «commercial» shoot comes in and somehow is able to jump the line before us. that was the last straw my family got up and walked out.

I had a coupon. For under 20 bucks I got a package of photos and a tote bag. I elected to purchase more because I wanted the CD with all the photos that were taken during the session. All of this was definitely worth three stars. These photos were of my 3 month old so… they were ALL adorable and I could not help myself. Here’s the dish on this establishment: Pros: 1) the photographer although obviously young and inexperienced, was very kind and helpful. 2) If using a coupon, the package is cheap Cons:(this list is longer, you might want to sit down, maybe use the bathroom first) 1) upon arrival, the photographer asked me what props and backgrounds I wanted. When I looked at him with a clueless I-am-not-a-photographer look, he returned my look with the same I-am-not-a-photographer look. 2) as he was setting up the first sitting with a beach background and box for a seat, I reminded him that my baby was 3 months old and just barely mastered the art of holding her head up for more that 20 seconds. He quickly rethought his seating choices and we began our first sitting. 3) The stuffed animals he kept waving in front of our baby were, how can I put this… gross. They appeared to have been chewed on my wild boars and dragged through the parking lot. 4) the blankets he tried to place our baby on were also… once again… how do I put this… oh yeah, gross. I offered to use our own blanket. Moral of the story: if you need a cheap photo fix and don’t mind the germs… this place is okay. The staff was very nice, but I expected more input and idea generation. It seems as if they have hired nice people that can press buttons on really nice cameras that do all the work.

I feel like the services were worth half a star but one will do. I scheduled my daughter’s, 11 months, session online. I made sure to read the«how to prepare» just to know everything to expect. Online it says«bring outfit changes to add variety to your sitting» and«bring family and friends. Everyone in the family should plan to be in the session.» So being a new first time mom, I packed changes of outfits, and planned on taking a photo of her and I together. We get there on time and the place is packed. We get called back and the«photographer» asked which background we wanted. I had no clue what backgrounds were available and isn’t it their job to guide us? She starts taking pictures and I’m trying to get my daughter to smile, but the photographer is not taking the time to wait for the smile, she’s just flashing away. Then she has the genius idea to have my daughter stand on a bench… My daughter has not mastered the art of standing on her own. We told her this and she just brushed it off. It was needless to say very nerve wrecking. She then said we were moving up front and if we wanted to change her outfit we could. After going through the same thing, she said that’s all she had unless we wanted more. We chose to just end it there. Which brought the total time of photo taking to about 30 minutes. $ 250 later… I’m just glad my daughter is photogenic because we got some good pictures. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. They are way overpriced for something I could have done at home.
