For the price and same old school atmosphere, but even friendlier – I’d go with Mike’s. It’s the same genre of gym. Smaller, intimate neighborhood-like…the kind of place you want to get a t-​shirt from ;)

I’ve been going here for 2 months now, I love this place!!! Staff is nice & friendly, the gym is well maintained and clean. I love the small atmosphere and how this gym doesn’t get crowded.

I have been going to Powerflex for a few years now. I have also gone to Charter and other gyms but they do not compare to Powerflex. It is a very nice gym. It is clean and well maintained. They have lots of nice equipment that is well kept and not dainty equipment for little girls either. I have gotten much stronger since I joined up. I usually go to the one on Eubank and often there is a trainer there named Randy that always talks to me and is super friendly all the time. He looks like an excellent trainer too. I encourage all of you to go check it out. I will be a member for a long time to come.
