I’m not into giving short-sighted reviews, but this place doesn’t offer much in terms of commentary. If you want a decent personal pizza, the place fits the bill. You can add whatever toppings and sit at your table watching your personalized television set while you wait. It’s that simple. I thought the Ceasar salad passed the basic grade, but it wasn’t anything spectacular. I can’t get over the televisions, they’re all over the place, at the table and on the walls. I get it, yes, some of us really need to watch TV all the time, and some of us need to check the stock market on our lunch breaks, okay, but not everybody. Some of us actually prefer less distraction, so that we might discuss our lives.

Get in your car and you’ll find delicious artisan crust, incredible salads, outrageous flatbread sandwiches, sumptuous gelato! The device was also awesome! A must try!

I’m actually writing this review as I’m sitting in Red Brick Pizza right now. We ordered thirty minutes ago, a large specialty pizza and a small specialty pizza(the exact same order) except on Gluten Free crust for me. After ordering, we notices on the receipt that they had left out one topping on my pizza and had not made it gluten free. After correcting both of these issues, we sat back down and waited. And waited. And waited. Oh wait, as I’m typing this now, I’m still waiting! The large pizza has come, but not my tiny little gluten free pizza. At least three other people have come, eaten their food and left. I’m still waiting! When I asked seven minutes ago how much longer it would take to get my pizza, they said five minutes. I AMSTILLWAITING. Oh, trust me, this is the second experience we’ve had here. The first time we came, our friend waited for his pizza for almost as long. For his tiny pizza. They just haven’t figured out how to make small pizza yet.

This place is in the strip mall across from Lowe’s and behind the Starbucks. Although they are a franchise chain this is the only one in ABQ and the first one I had ever been to. I stopped in during the NHL finals(Go Wings!) and have returned once during lunch time for carryout since then. The place is very clean and has an interesting layout and includes little TVs at each table and a couple of big screens(although this isn’t a sports bar). The restaurant really centers around the pizza oven in the center behind the counter(immediately behind the register). Although not a big deal in the evening because it wasn’t busy this made things tight back there during lunch… but what can you do? During lunch it was a little crazy but well worth it. The pizza was very tasty with a great crust and overall very thin although not crispy. I also tried the Cesar salad(with fresh croutons) and the bread sticks, which are also made in the brick piazza oven. It was all quite good. I think I enjoyed having options of different items that could be sprinkled on my crust: garlic, crushed red peppers, everything, etc. They also have a number of sandwich, appetizer and salad offerings plus what looks like homemade, or recently made gelato! Everything that requires heating goes into the pizza oven which is really nice. Since everything is made to order it takes a bit longer but is well worth it when it comes out of the oven pipping hot and is soon at your table! The wait staff was friendly and accommodated all of my variations on what I ordered. They even put on the hockey game for me and asked about it throughout my stay. One thing I haven’t tried are their«pre-planned» orders for groups. Depending on the number of people you can order meals with a selection of their appetizers, salads, pizzas, sandwiches, etc. I definitely think this would be a good choice when you decide to feed a larger group and want something higher quality than carry out KFC or the other pizza chains. They are definitely one of the most tasty pizzas I’ve had in ABQ and definitely recommend them.
