When buying scrubs, I tend to be loyal to a particular brand and style. I only wear solid colors, and for the past 2.5 years, I only wear Grey’s Anatomy. Recently, I also started wearing Koi’s. The cost of scrubs can pretty much add up so I wanted to get the best out of my money. I recently relocated here in Albuquerque and looking thru Unilocal, this store seemed a good choice with affordable prices. I bought several scrubs, like one pair of Koi cost 65 $ including taxes. I went on a weekday afternoon and the shop wasn’t busy with just 2 other customers in the store. The employee was friendly and accomodating. The fitting room had ample space. The items were organized and easy to find. There weren’t alot of nursing shoes, but I prefer comfy running shoes anyways. I dont know how this store’s prices compare to the other scrub store and I will soon find out. I’ll be checking out the other store next weekend for more scrubs. For this store’s prices it better be worth the trip for me since I live in the NE side, about 8miles from this location. I’ll be updating this review soon. :)

Store employee was very friendly and helpful. They do not carry Cherokee or Dickies, if you are looking for those brands. But they have a wide assortment of koi, greys anatomy and several other brands. They have a small shoe section. Prices were within reason. Very organized, clean, and friendly atmosphere. Would definitely buy here again.

In another scrub stores review, I likened trying on scrubs like having to try on bras. It’s uncomfortable, it’s awkward, you wonder what will happen when they’re washed and you feel robbed when having to spend that much money. That being said, this store is awesome! I went in 20 minutes to closing and found a very nice store keeper. I walked through the store and mentioned that I wouldn’t take up much of his time but the gentleman was truly a gentleman. He also ended up being very tall, towering over my 5’3″ height at about, oh I don’t know, 6’5″. I said, «wow you’re tall I didn’t notice it when you were over there behind the counter.» He said, «oh I was sitting down» hahaha. That was funny. So awesome staff! And he can reach the high stuff. Onto the merchandise… scrubs galore in this little place. And if you know your scrubs, you will agree that all the brands and options are great. Koi, med couture, iguanomed, landau, etc etc. They are pretty good at bringing in good patterns, but the gentleman agreed that patterned jackets are pretty hideous in general. But they pick the best to bring in. They also have a nice selection of white tops for those of us doomed to wear nursey white. Which the other stores can’t compete with. The prices are awesome. I usually shop at life uniform, but these guys had a 40% off rack, and a 25% off rack. And the sales racks had great brands! Their Koi for instance was at least $ 2 – 3 cheaper for tops and bottoms each. That’s amazing and worth it right there. They also had large sizes, I saw all the way to 3xl and offered to send me emails without bogging me down with random coupons and sales. Hours are great. Monday-Saturday 10−7p and open on Sunday. Overall, this place is the bees knees. So long! sayanara, see ya wouldnt wanna be ya… driving over to Timbuktu for no reason other than to get clothes that will just end up getting puked on tomorrow. I’m switchin’ to Scrubin up!
