If I were able to score less than one star I would! This store has proven to be very unscrupulous in its business practices. I purchased a freezer there in September and it has not worked since day one. Finally after three visits from a repair man I have returned to the store to speak with the manager. I wanted to return the freezer. The store wants to charge me $ 81 to pick up the freezer from my house! This is unconscionable. Also the sales man gave me some specifics about the return policy that the manager now will not honor. By the way, Sears outlet is not associated with Sears! They are a totally different company. I would never purchase from Sears outlet again!

I had bought appliances through Sears Outlet online before and although I got a great high-end appliance that I love for an amazing price, the process was not smooth as the website doesn’t always reflect what is in the stores. This time I needed to furnish a whole house with appliances. So I called the Albuquerque and spoke to Lisa to compare what was on-line versus what was in stock. Lisa wonderful and attentive and called me back when she said she would. But in the end, we both decided that I really needed to go down there. I’m so glad I did! Lisa helped us find everything we needed, convinced us that some of our initial choices weren’t the right fit for us and found us items with amazing deals. We had a $ 4,000 budget to buy 6 appliances and we thought we would have to buy cheapo options and go to a bunch of different stores looking for sales. Instead we got a high-end kitchen and laundry room for $ 500 below budget… and half of them were brand-new in the box. We couldn’t have done it without Lisa. The outlet is an overwhelming place and you need someone knowledgeable to help you. I understand how the situation that Dave W. describes in his review could happen in that store. I bought things on-line only to find out they were already sold. The key is having the right salesperson. Sears has a gem in Lisa and I hope they recognize her for it.

I tried to buy a range for my mother in-law who’s range quit working. I called and found the range she wanted and gave my credit card info to Martha. This was right before closing and I told her that I would call back and let her know if we would pick it up or wait the nine days for the first open delivery spot. I called back in the morning and told her to go ahead and deliver it. She tells me that she has bad news that she sold it before I called. I spoke with the manager Adam and explained what happened and he told me that they had just received a truck and would see if they got another range and he would call me back. Adam did not call me back but someone else did and said there was no range and that it was a communication error and he was sorry! I was told they could do nothing for me since they are not a part of Sears stores. BADBUSINESS practices, UNCARING employees all the way to the manager Adam! I ended up finding the same range unblemished at a local Sears store for the same price and got friendly service. Do yourself a favor keep Sears Outlet as your LASTRESORT!!! I will never do business with Sears Outlet again.
