It looks like a big warehouse and one should be forgiven for thinking it is nothing more – because it actually is a shoe warehouse– but they do sell to walk-in customers. I was at Lumber Liquidators across the street and coincidentally needed shoes when I saw their big banner. I ventured in and noticed it’s set up much like a Famous Footwear or similar store. I was in need of some hiking shoes/boots and noticed they had a small selection. This is important to note because what you see is what you get and you shouldn’t go in looking for something specific. In fact, you’ll have more luck if you have a type of shoe in mind and nothing more. I found a beautiful pair of Merrel low top hiking shoes and the salesman offered me them for $ 100. Being the astute customer that I am, I quickly looked the shoe up with a price check app and discovered they retail online for $ 125. Score for me! I bought them and had a convo with a guy that seemed to be the manager and he explained that the place distributes for Amazon. However, unbeknownst to most of the general public, they do sell the old fashioned way as well. I give the four stars because I got a good deal, but keep in mind their selection is not the best, nor is the store presentation.
