Souper Salad is not what it used to be. The salad bar was great but the dressings were flavorless. The selection of 4 soups tasted very processed but we’re ok. The vegetable soup was good. There was a potato/taco bar. Very tiny. The bread was not the fluffy, delicious cornbread and gingerbread from the past. The selection of mini-muffins included corn, blueberry, pumpkin, chocolate, and gingerbread. All of tgem tasted like they were artificially flavored. They were situated next to some weird looking pizza. The price was great for all you can eat but I couldn’t eat much. Gluten free options everywhere. Kind of a depressing atmosphere.

I wasn’t aware that a Souper Salad had moved into this location until today and was happy to find it South of Comanche. It’s in the corner of a shopping area with plenty of parking. The food was good — plenty of fresh salad options, four soups and plenty of extras. You can go here to stay on a diet, or fall off it, if you go for the pizza, tacos, Mac n cheese, dessert, etc. The walls are a bright green which I love, with vivid local prints on the walls. Informal, affordable, and great service. The wait staff grabbed our empty water cups and offered to fill them, including fresh lemon. I like to tip the above-and-beyond servers at a buffet style place like this.
