Every time I go in this Staples store I have the worst experience. The only reason I do go back is because it’s convenient and close to my house. The first time I went in I was just looking for pens, simple enough, I found what I was looking for and went to pay and had to wait for a cashier just to ring me up. It felt like I was bothering the 3 behind that were talking about who knows what, not work related @ all. The second time I went looking for paper for my daughter for school, It was during their back to school promotion, hardly anything on the shelves and when I asked what I thought was a manager when they might get more in he told me that they just received a shipment in the back and he would check if they had more come in. Could he be turning my awful staples experience around for me? Sadly no. As he was walking to the back a couple other employees stopped him to talk about the game they watched. After about 10 minutes or so of talking and laughing he realized, after he saw me looking at him, that he was supposed to be looking for something. He never went in the back to look for the paper he just said that none had come on this shipment and didn’t know when any more would be in. Strike 2! This morning I called to ask if they had some forms that the county clerk told me that they would definitely have. First you have to spend a lot of time pushing buttons on the automated just to get through to an actual human the guy just answers«hello» like I’m calling him at home or something not even saying«thank you for calling staples this is „so and so“ how can I help you». I asked about the forms and he immediately responded no we don’t have stuff like that. Strike 3! I will be contacting cooperate about this location. Hopefully this helps. If you know exactly what you want and where it is in the store then I really recommend going somewhere else. I also feel that the 1 star I gave was being generous.

This was a frustrating experience for me. I went in for a refill for my Day runner. The store was out of a lot of product. What was there was jumbled around in incorrect spots. Two entire shelves were stocked but without a single price label. When I paid, I told the cashier about the mess, and while my inner curmudgeon expected to be further frustrated by a dismissive attitude, the cashier expressed concern and said she would talk to her supervisor. I had to swipe my card three times and enter my PIN twice. That leaves me hoping I don’t have to do some straightening out at my bank. I don’t think I will give this another shot, even though I only visited one area of the store.

Oddly enough I was offered assistance multiple times while in this location. However the chair I purchased rang up for more than the sign said but I didn’t realize it until I got home. That was a little frustrating. I called the location back to ask about pricing and was essentially put on eternal hold, Sadly, the price mishap has brought down my rating considerably.
