Very disappointed. A particular Staff member was not very friendly, which working with children should be. The office was not visually appealing to a child or even an adult.(Not colorful, no toys, did not offer a sticker etc) Office did not seem up to date. If you don’t want your child to have a good experience at the doctors office than take your child here.

The first time I visited Dr Sumner was with my first born in 1996. I chose Dr. Sumner because he came highly recommended by the hospital staff where my little premature 3 pound baby spent the first months of life. In 1999 Dr. S cured my second born of RSV. We been in more times than I can imagine over the years. Dr. Sumner even came in on a Saturday once for an emergency bead extraction from a nose! What an amazing guy. He is so great with kids. All my kids love him. He’ll even do some magic tricks for them if he has time. Same day appointments are always available for sick kids. I now have six children who all see Dr. sumner and I can’t say enough good things about him.

Pediatrician All 4 of my children(2 families blended) go to this office. You may not always see Dr Sumner, but you will be seen, and in a very reasonable amount of time(85% of the time — often longer wait for walk in appts). I often can call the day of, and get a walk in appt for my kids if they came down sick. They are computerized. They are friendly, and accommodating to a large variety of children’s special needs. Willing to work with other doctors and specialists, and if he isn’t sure he will refer you to someone he thinks can figure it out(my son had an eye issue he couldn’t figure out). Office is *always* CLEAN and friendly.
