The Cleanery

Let me start by saying the quality of dry cleaning is fantastic, however when they lose a sport coat and say they never got it, the Stars drop dramatically. They are probably the most expensive dry cleaners in the city; the suits come out amazingly. They have a quality driver, Randy; him alone is why I returned despite the cost. When I had over 10 suits and sport coats cleaned the last time I did not receive my black sport coat back. I got with Randy and let him know. The response was they never show record of receiving it. I sent the receipt and description and still nothing. I went back to Suits Unlimited where I purchased the sport coat and purchased another one. Even after the owner of Suits, who referred me to The Cleanery, said they would call them to have them make it right I received no call, no follow up, and no resolution. I work with others that have had a similar «mistake» happen. I would not trust them with any more of my clothes. I do not recommend you try them. They can be the best at cleaning your clothes, but it does not matter if you do not get all of them back.

This review is for leather cleaning. i brought some dresses here too, but honestly I can’t tell if they’re cleaner because they didn’t look dirty to begin with :)
**LEATHER CLEANING TAKES 5 – 6 WEEKS**. Your leather item goes out of state somewhere for a long time; it’s like sending your kid to camp. When I dropped it off, my light tan jacket was noticeably dirty from oils, especially around the collar and wrists. It came back (from camp) looking like it’d been scrubbed within an inch of its life; I’d say it 90% cleaner (which is a lot better than when i took it to Kitch Cleaners on Lomas; I did not expect 100% cleaner, i don’t think that’s possible). Bill was a little over $ 50, which was worth it for me.

Fabulous customer service and they use ‘green’ products, safe for environment, safe for your clothes! No smelly stuff here. They give great care to fine items, and being a clothing addict I appreciate the care that they take. If you haven’t used them in a while, try them out now.
