Want something cool, hip, and totally Albuquerque? This is the place to go! There is no «made in China» crap here! The owner, Nikki is passionate about what she does and even if you don’t find what you are looking for here, you will find some other great treasures — all from local artists. Not to mention, Nikki is extremely knowledgeable about her products offered and even whats going on in town. What a great place!!! I will be back and this time with other shoppers!!!

Évaluation du lieu : 5 Albuquerque, NM
With its dia de los muertos themed shirts, belts and accessories, I think today is an appropriate time to bless The Shop with the first review. This co-op of some 50+ local artists boasts some of the best hand-made, unique and original gifts in the city, and it showcases the work of Nikki Zabicki, a long-time Burque original, who put The Shop in business. Simply put, this fabulous hub of awesomeness should be one of the more successful local shops in the city, but due to A) random location and B) Albuquerque’s lack of urban sensibility, it lays dormant in anonymity. Want to make good on your yearly holiday pledge to shop local, and ditch those box stores? A visit to The Shop will reap major returns, promise. There’s so much happening on these racks at such fair prices, you simply can’t walk out empty-handed. And throughout the season there will be plenty of great sales. Be wary of the weird business hours, Thurs-Sat 11 – 7, Sunday ’till 5. Warning: this review will self-destruct January 1st, 2014. The place will close its doors and relocate online. So go check out the real deal, now. You won’t be disappointed.
