Just went to the New Mexico bowl and had a good time. halfway through the second we went to the concession stand and all the lines had about 15 – 20 people, but we waited well over 30 minutes. The cashier didn’t have a register and she had to ring it up on her own phone’s calculator and go get item herself. It was ridiculous. Otherwise nice stadium.

Clean though crowded, everything as it is. Great stadium! Nice crowd, good view even from the cheapest seats in the house. Love the best military discounts for tickets. Saved us some moolah and substantially too so don’t forget to ask.

The new JumboTron is amazing! This stadium was beautful for this last weeks opening football game! It looks better then when I went to school at UNM. It made me proud to say I graduated from UNM.

Well, we all know the Lobos are trash so no one is here to see a win. Because of this, you’re not going to see the type of bandwagon riders you’d see at a Yankees game and you won’t get priced out as rich folks take interest and buy up all the prime seating. In all likelihood, this will remain the case for many years to come. The Lobos should really just cut their footbal team and funnel all the saved money into their soccer and basketball programs(I’d say into their academic programs, but we all know that’s got the least chance of happening). But forget the performance on the field. You come here for the same reason you go to Isotopes Park: because it’s a nice way to spend the day and get out with the family. The entrance fees are fair(free in our case this past Saturday because of a generous season ticket holder that caught us at the gate) and you can sit anywhere and have an outstanding view of the field. The fans are all pleasant and somewhat entertaining as long as you can humor some old, cliched New Mexicanisms of the sporting world like: «Hey ref, you need to go back to reffing school,» … I hadn’t heard that in ages and it brought a chuckle to me in all of its ridiculousness. I can’t attest to the food or drink situation here because I didn’t bother to look, but I can assure you it’s on par with your local high school basketball game. But hey, that’s all part of the appeal.

Great place to run stairs, although water fountains are not turned on when no events are present. Monkey will return with water and sunscreen.

Home of the University of New Mexico Lobos and a great mid-sized stadium. Parking is a bit of a mess for visitors, but the open style stadium is easy to get around in. They could use more food stands and more than one souvenir stand, but overall it’s a good place to watch a game, especially given the awesome NM weather.
