Avoid!!! This company takes advantage of seniors. Check with the Better Business Bureau before concidering doing business with this company. As of today they have 780 negative reviews and 0 positive reviews. We had a horrible time with Vivint. They saw a ADT sign in the yard and appoached my elderly parents stating that ADT was going away and that they were there to replace the ADT system. They sold them an overpriced system that came with cheap indoor only cameras. They promised to pay off the remander of the ADT contract, but that was a lie. Everyone involved in this company is shady.

I’ve had Vivint for two years now and they have been the best out of 3! The two way voice is great-​when the alarm goes off, they call you on the speaker to make sure all is well :) great comfort for us! The features on the cellphone app is amazing-​being able to lock the door, change the temp. Arm the system, turn on the light, from anywhere (I’m a space case so this is very useful) and the live video has great resolution as well as night vision! The coded lock is also cool-​no more making keys for family-​lol – I’m barely writing this review because I just added another camera and smoke detector and they came out and surprised me with how amazing they are to us as customers and to each other (I was being nosy and heard the convo from the tech who came out and the rep on the phone) they were professional, kind, and respectful to one another :-) I have to say, yes it might be a bit more pricey than another company but I’ve never been more confident with our home security and happy with their customer care! :-) just waiting on outdoor surveillance cameras-​lol
