W L Jackson Park

I come to this park whenever my sister is in town with my niece. It is quiet, clean, and I feel safe in this neighborhood. It has a basketball court, a play area for kids age 5 and up, and a large grassy area.
There are picnic tables and fun lizard sculptures that can be climbed on. Dogs are welcome and they have a watering station and bags available to clean up after them.
My niece is 2, and the playground equipment is geared for older kids. The slide is steep and there are places a toddler could fall from easily. It would be nice if some of the parks in the area had a toddler area available.
I love coming here, I would go more often but I’d probably look like a creeper if I was at the playground without my niece.
