Five stars for Cesar. And our extra crispy fries. We recently moved to ABQ from the panhandle of Florida where we frequently visited whataburger. Our service there was mediocre and it was a coin toss whether or not we’d get the extra crispy fries we asked for. Since moving, we’ve been to this whataburger a few times but today met Cesar for the first time. He really prides his work and made us feel welcome. He’s a great face for the company. Unfortunately the military is sending us back to Florida soon and we will miss this whataburger and Cesar.

I had high expectations because this fast food was highly recommended. So, I was excited to try it. I got a whataburger and an apple pie. The apple pie tasted great but the famous whataburger did not live up to my expectation. The patty was dry and it was not worth the wait with several cars ahead of me. Maybe it is the time of day lunch time around 11 am.

I absolutely love their jalapeño cheddar biscuit breakfast sandwich with sausage. It tastes like the breakfast sandwiches my mom used to cook when I was a kid. Soft and tender biscuit with a fresh egg and delicious sausage patty, yum! I also love the green chile double! Fresh tasting roasted green chile with melty cheese and two burger patties. There is a wait compared to other fast food joints like McD’s but the food is so much better it’s worth the wait.

They had an awesome crew and great customer service. We went with a large group and I went with my work and usually the service isn’t understanding with the people I take in. They were amazing, thank you

Originally liked this place for breakfast because the pancakes were much better than McDonalds. However, I watched about 100 cars go through mcDonald while I waited 25 min for breakfast this morning. When I mentioned to the girl that it was not acceptable time she just laughed. I double checked all my food was there as the previous 2 times had breakfast there they forgot items, but did not realize that got no syrup, butter, or utencils(guess they could not get that done during the 25 min wait). Will never go here again in life. The need to just close for breakfast.

Yuck. Thought it would be better than McDonald’s. Wrong! Maybe if the manager would get off his phone he’d see the crap the workers are doing. Big yucky chunks of iceberg lettuce and gross.

Food is prepared well, but old white man cashier with glasses will rip you off«over charge» if your not paying attention to your receipt.

Everyone is always polite here. One of the friendliest drive-thrus overall of any fast food place. May not be the fastest, but then again if you want McDs it’s across the street. I’ll wait a little extra time to get a good burger!

This place really can’t be called fast food. Not because the food is higher quality than fast food. No, no, no. It’s basic drive thru food. It can’t be called fast food because it takes forever every single time, no matter what you get. One time I sat in the car forever waiting on a cinnamon roll. Of course there was no one at the window to ask(are the window folks cooking too or what??) so I sat there. Had my egg sandwich, no cinnamon roll. Finally the guy comes out and is like«didn’t I give you your food already?» And I told him about the roll and he’s like I thought someone else already gave you it? Wtf?! Drive thru basics! One person should work the window. The last time I went they made me wait forever and instead of a chicken finger kids meal I got an adult chicken sandwich combo… couldn’t fix it because, again, no one at the window even just seconds after I got my food! Also didn’t want to wait another 10 minutes to get the new food. I won’t be going back to this location.

Slowest Whataburger I’ve ever been to, 1 star for cleanliness. But honestly, be prepared to spend 8 minutes in the drive-thru, without anyone ahead of you. They must be short staffed.

What can I say, I’m absolutely impressed with the cleanliness of this restaurant. i give this place a strong and solid 3.5 stars. I mean it does have its hurtles as far as being a top rated facility as age is a barrier, but I literally witnessed employees scrubbing the floors, booths, tables, floors and baseboards by hand. How often do you see that? The food was fresh. I ordered the #1 Whataburger combo as a way of properly evaluating an establishment that touts its burgers in its name. I must say it was good. Similar in my opinion to a Lotaburger. My better half had the patty melt which was very good as well. They deliver your food to your table and offer you condiments from a tray. The manager was really on top of everything. It was a Friday night and she kept everything running smoothly. Employees also talked to us and several Nevada football players who were playing in the New Mexico Bowl. Overall, Whataexperience!
