Eric Llanes Photography Studio

We hired Eric and Sara for our wedding in September 2014. At first we were excited to work with them, they seemed to have good reviews, good energy, and experience. The day of the wedding went well, they were enthusiastic and easy to work with.
The problems started after we got back from our honeymoon and I attempted to contact Sara to see the status of our photos. I emailed her once and she told me that the lead time is 4 – 6 weeks and that she would be able to show me some «teasers» the following week.
I said, great! and left it at that. The «teasers» never came and a couple more weeks passed. I emailed her back to see what was up, and got no response. A couple more emails later, still no response. I called her cell phone, it was disconnected. I called thier company phone number on thier website, disconnected also. I let a few more weeks go, thinking I would hear from her. Nothing.
At this point it was well past the 4 – 6 week lead time with no communication whatsoever about what was going on, and apparantly no way to contact them. I started using every outlet I could to contact Sara. Facebook, leaving messages on thier website, linked in.
Finally 3 months after our wedding, Sara finally contacts me back, saying she say my message on linked in, but no other messages. I found that very strange considering I had used thier company website to contact them. She said they were still worknig on the photos and that she should have them to me soon.
At least two weeks went by again before we even saw any «teasers» and I had to literally call them everyday and leave messages, and they still didnt get back to me.
When I fianlly got the pictures, I cant say I am anything but so dissapointed with them. For what I got, they are arlight. Nothin special. But what lacks, is the real dissapointment.
Only one picure of just my husband and I and no one else, in an awkward pose, nonetheless. No pictures of me and each of my bridesmaids, no pictures of me and my daughter. No pictures of me and my mom or dad. Just so dissapointing. Then, they choose to include 5, literally 5 pictures of a book and a slider from dinner. Why the hell do I need 5, or any, pictures of that?!
I would NEVER recommend this couple to anyone for thier wedding. From the extreme lack of communication to the disspointing picture turnout. To the ridiculous lie about lead time and disregard for any urgency once that lead time was surpassed. After speaking with Eric, I dont think Eric and Sara communicate between themselves very well either, which might be part of the problem.
They are pricey, and definitely not worth your time or money.

We’ve used these Photographers twice already for our family photos and I wish we had known them at the time of our wedding! They are so incredibly talented! They have advanced equipment and knowledge of using lighting techniques to give the photos an extra professional look. Sara and Eric are also so easygoing and fun to work with – and are incredibly patient and great with children. I love all their work!

We had our first family photos taken by Eric Llanes and could not be more pleased with the results. The photos are beautiful and they truly captured our kids personalities. We were looking for a photographer who would give us posed yet natural pictures as well as some spontaneous ones and they delivered on both. From experience I know how difficult it is to get a good, natural looking shot of small children — even getting everyone to look at the camera at the same time is so hard — but I was amazed at the many great shots they got of all five of us as well as our three kids together. The talent in the photos speaks for itself but the business behind the photography is equally professional. Communication was extremely prompt and we got our pictures very quickly. I’m happy to recommend them (and have) to anyone looking to have family photos taken.

Eric & Sara are the best! We have used them for some family photos and couldn’t be happier with the results. From scheduling around our hectic lives to helping select an amazing setting and picking some great family poses, they make a great photography team.
Our family had a great time taking the photos and even more fun looking through the finished product. We recommend Llanes Photography with no reservations, they rock!!!
