Square One Home Inspections

SQUARE 1 HOME INSPECTIONS recently provided an extremely valuable service to me in inspecting my new home prior to purchase. Jeff Linam explained all the items covered in the home inspection report. I would have been bewildered but for the guidance/​explanation he gave me for the function or dysfunction of items covered in the report. It gave me a great deal of peace of mind to have someone knowledgeable and thorough willing to patiently explain things. He also went above and beyond by answering my questions while I was soliciting repair issues/​quotes and that was so very much appreciated.
Every item pointed out in Square 1’s report as a significant defect was substantiated and proven by independent third-​party repair contractors (in most cases by multiple service companies in the given field). Square 1’s thorough and meticulous inspection and explanation of each item assisted me in negotiating reduced purchase price and thus saving me thousands for unseen repairs/​replacements which if unnoticed would be out of my pocket later. It was so refreshing to have someone willing to spend a little extra time helping one understand issues and necessary repairs and not just wanting to grab a check and run. (I’ve bought a number of homes in my lifetime and Square 1 Home Inspections gave the absolute best home inspection and service I have ever had.)
