Some of the worst pizza I’ve had in a while. Tasted like it had been taken out of the freezer and popped in the oven. Iced tea didn’t taste too fresh either. Thank God the outside deck was still available.

We have been coming here for almost a decade. Normally we sit on top but now with a toddler we dine down stairs. We have NEVER had this bad of service there. We went in for fries and pizza. My husband orders that with a beer and soda. We wait and wait and we pick up our pizza and no fries. Come to find out the guy doesn’t add to to the bill. My husband goes back into a 30′ min line where it appears they aren’t taking any orders. A young lady working there sees his frustration and attempts to help. We explain what has happened and she’s very apologetic and the fries get ordered and brought to the table. At this point our pizza is eh since it sat outside for 30 min but we still made the best of it. Went to get a refill on my soda and a box and it went even further down hill from there. The soda machines are not accessible to the patrons you have to ask for a refill and when I did the guy working behind who I am assuming is the owner and I could be totally wrong literally rolled his eyes at me, filled my large cup up half way and very unpleasantly«placed» it on the counter. Then I asked for the box to go, that didn’t go any better. Another sigh then he tossed it Onto the counter as it slid in my general direction. I am not really sure if maybe he was having an off day but I don’t think I have ever been treated so poorly. We will definitely not be coming back and the only reason I gave three stars was bc the young lady really wanted to help and make things right and saw how unhappy we had been with the service.

The location is excellent and they accommodate large groups. The food quality is average at best and the prices are very high for pizza.

Top of the Bay bar. Rude bartender female on 7÷9÷13. Personally insulted me and offended my wife. Pizza downstairs is good but overpriced. Go for the view. Not the staff. I don’t typically write reviews but this is a tourist town. Dont offend your paycheck with your smart mouth!

Came here on a recommendation of a friend who raved about the pizza. Sauce is very plain, toppings were a bit thin. Crust bottom was crisp and dough was pretty thick. Not bad pizza just not something to write how about.

Best pizza around for 50 miles, maybe more! We tried the Bacon & Bleu specialty pizza… a white pizza(garlic & olive oil) with bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, and Bleu cheese crumbles. I was a bit apprehensive about a Bleu cheese pizza, but it was incredible! Light, crispy/chewy crust with a lovely mix of bacon, garlic, fresh mushrooms, tomatoes, and just the right amount of Bleu cheese crumbles… not overpowering at all. We added a Caesar salad and had a wonderful lunch sitting up on the top deck overlooking the marina and harbor. It doesn’t get any better than this in the 1000 Islands!

I grew up on the river, and we always eat at Cav’s Pizza. This is one of the staple restaurant’s in the bay and I don’t really understand why it’s getting a bad rap on Unilocal! The food is consistently good, the people are nice, and Top of the Bay is one of the best bars in town! You can sit upstairs and get food from downstairs– you can arrive dock right off the back deck– the food is quick– the owners are great! Definitely a great place for people to try while they are in town! Great for families with lots of people, even kids!

TOPOFTHEBAY Go upstairs and have Desi’s World Famous Mai Tai. She made the best one I ever tasted. Even better than Mommas Fish House in Maui, HI

The food is expensive and over priced for average food. They are clearly penny pinching. There are no free refills for your pop, and you are allotted only a few napkins per order(even if you order a full pizza). And they only give you napkins if they remember. If they forget to give you your drink, they will make you show the receipt to prove to paid for the over priced drink. They forgot to call the number for part of our order, so it was sitting on the counter for 10 minutes while we ate our pizza.(the other part of the order was a sandwich, btw) They also couldn’t manage to get a pre made wrap out of the cooler to serve it with the rest of the order. The staff was not friendly, and almost seemed annoyed when we asked for water bc we were not paying for more pop(that wasn’t even filled up to the top) Anyway, the pizza was the only highlight of the lunch. It was good, but I’ll only be coming back here if I don’t have to pay for it.

The pizza has always been pretty good but takes a long while. but the bar upstairs is grossly overpriced and poor service. If it wasn’t for the view, anyplace else would be a better choice

Food was good, not great for Pizza fare. It is very expensive, yet most food in Alex bay is since they have such a short season. Place is very clean and there is a nice deck by the water. Staff showed a bit of an attitude as if they where the only game in town, yet they are not. No reason to return. Will try other places

My wife and I boated here across the St. Lawrence. A-Bay has a lot of venues, only few of them have good views of the waterfront. The reason we went here is because we wanted to get patio effect, a few cool drinks and a snack. Bayside pizza is perfect for that occasion, well, only for that occasion. If you are looking for a family style restaurant, I’d pass, because downstairs was a giant room that felt like a community dining room at camp with a long ordering lane to the right. Inventory has eatery standard at best. However, upstairs the feeling was much more personal, a great band playing, nice cold mixed drinks(Long Island Iced Tea from scratch!). You order drinks from a small bar in the corner. The food you have to order separately downstairs and a number gets shouted out via speaker. They don’t actually bring it to you, that’s a bit of a pain in the neck and rather uncomfortable by my standards. Food took about 20 minutes, which is ok. The pizza(chicken, onions, white sauce) was crispy and quite ok but oh gosh, it’s like someone sprayed grease all over it or something. That’s not necessary. Guys, lose the grease spray tan and instead brush(onto crust only) light virgin olive oil if you feel you have to! The panini with roasted onions, cheese and chicken was quite nice also and fine tuned for US taste buds, a bit on the greasy side also. We were both hungry so we didn’t care about the extra calories. All in all, we had a nice experience here and for a pint, a few cocktails, band and a snack this is the right place to hang out. Upstairs mind you, not below. We’ll be back.

This is a bar located above Cavallario’s Bayside Pizza near the docks. A cool deck that overlooks parts of abay, the docks and the St. Lawrence River. They have live music and sometimes pull down a screen to show music videos of songs playing. The drinks are not too crazy priced and they have their signature drink there, the A-Bomb.
