What a rip off… this place is a joke, pretend to charge as much as a pizzeria in NYC for a pizza that is barely decent.

Stopped in for a slice around lunchtime. It was nothing amazing but it wasn’t bad either. I’d recommend, but don’t expect anything special. I will add that the place was very cozy and clean.

The best pizza in upstate ny. We get the Blanca pepperoni sheet. That is 32 – 36 pieces of the best pizza for 30 dollars or less. And I love the garlic and olive oil instead of red sauce on my pizza. She also makes a wonderful chicken Caesar salad. We go there all the time during the season until everything shuts down. Just wished she would be open Friday and Saturday off season. She would kill it on sales.

They do not have much on there menu and that is just fine with me… they do pizza and they do it right. Best Pizza in Alexander Bay by far… The staff was friendly and inviting, not like Calaveras pizzq, who made it feel like ordering some food from them was an inconvenience on there day. I’ve tried all the pizza joints in town and this will be the only one for me in the future.

Pizza for drunks… really. Any notion that this pizza is excellent screams a dire need get a tastebud transplant as well as a physical transplant out of the North Country to a pizza mecca.

Great pizza at a good price. I think it’s the best in town. We vacation up in the 1000 Islands every summer and make it a point to stop in and get our pizza. So far everything is good but I enjoyed the Buffalo Chicken. For me it had just the right amount of chicken, buffalo sauce and cheese.

Being a bit of a pizza snob and traveling from downstate, we decided upon Josie’s. We ordered a margherita pie, which was actually not what I was accustomed to, style-wise. Cooked differently than the places down by me, I still found it to be quite good. The dough was soft but not chewy and even though I usually like a crispier pie, I enjoyed the taste and texture of the dough. I would recommend it for anyone looking to stop in for a quick bite.

The pizza was good and the staff was nice. We were a group of 4 and we ordered 3 medium pizzas and there was plenty to take back as leftovers. Overall nice experience!

Visiting the North Country and happened upon a great little pizza place, tucked away on a side street but easy to access. Pizza dough was perfect with more than enough toppings and sauce, hot from the oven. Clean dining area and restrooms plus pleasant pizza-preparer-cashier! Liked it so much after our boat trip that we returned the next day! We had a medium Josie’s Traditional Pizza with two toppings for $ 10.50 — thought sure we couldn’t finish it all but left barely a crumb! Homemade salads looked yummy, too, though we stayed with the pizza. Kudos to all!

Pizza was pretty good. Basic bacon pizza. Service was good. It was clean. I would go back.

Our family usually eats our meals at the cottage we rent on the river. But at least once a week, we go into A Bay to enjoy Josie’s Pizza. It is the best in the North Country! The crust is great, toppings are good, and their salads are also really good!
