Alexandria Dental Health & Smile Studio: Mojgan Mazhari, DDS

I cracked an old crown yesterday and based on the reviews, called her office. They fitted me in after 4 pm and Dr. Mazhari was kind, patient and personable. I returned this morning to have the old crown removed and a new one put in. I’m a total dental phobe, but she was extremely caring and put me at ease. I can’t say enough about her wonderful technique, latest technology and a warm, friendly staff.

I was in yesterday morning for a 7 am appointment. Seriously. When’s the last time you heard of any doctor or dentist who who do this? I’d cracked a tooth. But I knew what to expect: zero discomfort. And that’s exactly what happened. Wait — you’re looking for a horror story? I’m going to disappoint you. I love my dentist something crazy. I thought an overlay would be two sessions. Nope — she does everything on site, including making the ceramic overlay.
So here’s the truth. I fell asleep while she was prepping my tooth. She replaced an old military filling and found a cavity which needed filling. I’d been up all night working, so I wasn’t my usual chatty self. So, I slept through everything. That’s how little discomfort there is.
Afterwards, I dropped my car at the dealer, had lunch with the husband at a restaurant — and yes, I ate pizza. We took care of errands. I didn’t need so much as an aspirin.
Because I am terribly vain, I’m going back soon for Invisaligns.
