Dr. Rothman did an excellent job with all four of my wisdom teeth. I had two impacted and one was side ways. He walked me through everything in the procedure and made me feel very comfortable. I was back on my feet and ready to taken home after an hour and a half. I’m extremely content with how this all went. Thank you very much!

I’m a dental hygienist in the area, so we see patients who go to oral surgeons all over northern Virginia and DC. We refer the vast majority of our patients in need to Drs. Rothman and Brewer because they have proven time and time again to be the best at what they do. Patients always come back raving about what a great experience they had.
On a personal note, Dr. Rothman extracted my wisdom teeth a few years ago (all fully impacted, ie. sideways), and I had a wonderful experience. IV sedation was great, the staff was absolutely fabulous, and Dr. Rothman called me that evening to make sure I was doing ok. I can’t complain about a single thing!

I was going to choose this business based off of the Unilocal reviews alone. However, when I called yesterday, I was told they weren’t in network. Since my pockets don’t run deep *insert sad face* I had to choose someone in network.
My review is based solely on the interaction I had with the receptionist/​coordinator Christine (I think I heard that right). she provided me with all the information that I’d need in regard to pricing. She mentioned the consultation fee, price range per tooth, and the cost of anesthesia. I really appreciate all of her help because it helped me to gauge information as I chose a different provider.

Dr. Kevin Brewer is wonderful and compassionate and so is the staff! In early October 2014, I needed an extraction and implant on a lower tooth and he did it in one day. Everything was very precise yet friendly, the technicians that took xrays and assisted Dr. Brewer were awesome. I have had my share of dental experiences and this was as short and as pain free as you can get. The healing process didn’t take long and I look forward to having a crown by January!

Visited the office today and had a consultation with Dr. Kevin Brewer. My experience was wonderful. When I called earlier this morning, they accommodated my request to be seen soon, and managed to schedule an appointment for the same day.
The environment in the office is exceptional and the whole team deserves an A plus. Everything went smooth, although I was under stress for my appointment.
Dr Brewer was knowledgeable addressed my problems and concerns and took the time to thoroughly examine and determine what was the issue. Highly recommended.

This was a great experience. I’m 30 and needed all 4 wisdom teeth removed. I was referred by my dentist & did not need a consultation, just made the appointment. I believe the entire procedure only took about an hour? It felt much shorter, but I was under anesthesia. Dr. Rothman called a few hours later to make sure I was healing properly. I went out of my dental network, but it was worth any additional cost.

I had my appointment for a tooth extraction this morning. I can certainly add another good review. I did have to wait a half hour or so while they processed my paperwork and insurance info, but that was expected. I filled in all the forms ahead of time from the web site and brought them with me.
After a while, a technician called my name and I went back to the treatment rooms. Almost right away the dentist came in, went over a couple of details, and gave me the local anesthetic. A few minutes later he was back with the assistant and a tray of instruments. I was a little nervous about a problem I have had with gagging when something touches the back of my tongue, and he said not to worry. As it turned out I had no difficulty with that at all. A few yanks and the tooth was out — didn’t feel a thing-​, and I was handed my post-​extraction instructions and prescriptions. I stopped at the check out station where I was told that my insurance had covered 100% of the procedure, and then I was on my way.
I guess until they install a drive-​through that’s about as good as it gets! Definitely recommend this office.

I’ve been struggling with cleaning my wisdom tooth a.k.a tooth #16 for a year and a half (as a pregnant/​nursing mother). After a not-​so-​great experience with the last dentist I decided preventative oral care was going to be a bigger priority in my life so I got my xrays and made an appointment with Drs. Rothman & Rothman. Upon calling their office, I was given the option of having the consult to determine what codes they would use for insurance purposes, or just coming in and having them taken out. Hmm… did I really want someone I’ve never met to knock me out, extract bones from my mouth and wake up groggy, nauseous and swollen? Luckily, I chose to go in for the consult one week before and Dr. Jeffrey Rothman told me I could keep my last impacted wisdom tooth because I wasn’t getting any wiser at 30. Ok, not in so many words, but he said I would be able to eat before the procedure, be done within a half hour, drive myself home, and be conscious! For the first time in my life I felt like a consultation was worthwhile, especially since it made things a lot easier on the two of us.
I was SO happy with the experience, I think I was skipping on my way out. There was absolutely no reason to be anxious at all! Dr. Rothman was professional, quick and thorough. I got Novocaine since it was partially erupted and I honestly didn’t feel a thing! There were no loud noises, barely any pressure at all, and when he said I was done after a few minutes, I thought he was being sarcastic! Then he showed me the big honkin’ toof and I believed him. He explained how to clean and take care of myself when I got home and the staff assured me that my dentist would be informed of the procedure. The staff was polite, upbeat, and told me at the consultation how much it would cost, which was another pleasant surprise. The office is well lit, nicely decorated and clean. Parking is easy and free. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you for the excellent care you give to your patients!

I think Dr. Rothman Jr is absolutely wonderful. He took out my wisdom teeth a few months ago and it was an easy and (almost) pain-​free experience; in total, I was there for under 30 minutes.
From the get-​go, Dr. Rothman was very understanding about my concerns and thoroughly answered all of my questions. On the day of the procedure, I was a bit nervous, and he was incredibly kind and helped calm my fears.
I highly recommend their practice.

So first I should explain what the deal was. I had to come in and see Dr. G. Rothman because a few months back I had a root canal on a very back molar. I started getting a small blister on my gums right behind the location of the tooth a few weeks later. I let it go a few more weeks and was still experiencing sensitivity in the tooth which was unusual. I should add that for my first root canal my endodontitst did a great job pain wise. With all the horror stories I’ve heard about how gruesome root canals were I was fairly surprised when my endodontists said «OK were all set, you’re done!»
Maybe a month or so later I went back and they had to do xrays. A week later they called me and told me that I was an unusual case and that I had a 5^th root. I was pissed. After paying $ 1200 for the crown they were going to rip it open. To cut the story short a few months later I went back in to finally have the endodontist find the 5^th root. She never found it I was referred to Dr. Rothman to have the tooth pulled.
I’ve never had a tooth pulled in my life besides my wisdom teeth which I was put out cold for, and the healing process was terrible. I’m also a very nervous person who worries way to much about little things. I was so scared in his office I was trembling. They were nice and gave me a blanket. I wanted to be sedated but I know for ONE tooth, being sedated is pretty silly and expensive. Dr. Rothman sat down and let me tell him everything I was afraid of. He listened and was assertive. He was very informative and told me everything that would happen. He didn’t act as if he was being inconvenienced by some silly girl about a minor tooth extraction. He convinced me to stay and just get it over with. He said he was going to take it in steps so that I could stay calm. He got the needles out for numbing and I freaked out because he wasnt going to use numbing gel on my gums first. He obviously didn’t need to because the second the needle touched my gums I NEVER felt a thing. It was amazing. He obviously has a superb skill at doing things the pain free way. I think the scariest part was trying to get the crown off first. I think it was tougher than actually ripping the tooth out. After the crown was off he had to grind down the tooth which made me a little light headed. I panicked for a second because that moment, for some reason, I expected to feel something. But nothing. Then after the grinding he broke the tooth and pulled it out in pieces which was nice because I heard the pieces of tooth clinking as he put them in the pan which meant he was almost done. The only pain I felt was a faint aching in the gums as he ripped out the last big chunk of tooth. The BEST part was when he told me there was no 5^th rooth. Awesome. But there was an absesce and
infection. Over all it was a very smooth process and I was really happy with the outcome. For such a scary experience I don’t think it could have gone any better. Highly recommended!

Dr. Rothman Jr. was great. He took out both of my upper wisdom teeth. It was painless and over in what seemed like a couple of minutes.
The staff called my insurance company and took care of all of the paperwork. That’s a huge help for me because I find dealing with insurance companies to be the most painful part of the whole thing.
Definitely recommended!
