Andrews Landscaping

Had Andrews Landscaping redo our pond and landscaping at our home in Fairfax Station. My pond is on their website.
Mr. Andrews promised to keep up the pond and come to close it at the end of the season. They did not come to close the pond. When we started the pond pump this year, it did not work.
I sent emails and left phone messages. I received an email saying the senior Mr. Andrews knew we needed work done and was going to come by. Weeks went by and no one came or sent another email. No phone calls were returned. We finally went with another company.
I paid a lot of money but unfortunately there was no follow through on their work. I was very disappointed.

I used Andrews Landscaping to plant a tree on September 1, 2014. When initial contact was made requesting an estimate and scheduling service was very quick and effortless.
On the date the tree was planted a location was discussed but not marked. I «assumed» there wouldn’t be a problem and went inside my home. When they were ready to plant the tree they knocked at my door to ask about the tree’s position and from my front door it looked good. Once they finished I went outside to look at the tree and that’s when I realized they had planted the tree in the wrong location although the position was correct.
Before they left I told them the tree was more then a foot off the agreed location but was asked to think about its current location and if after a few days I really didn’t like the location they’d come back out. It only took me one day to realize I hated the location (not symmetrical with the other trees) and I started e-​mailing them. I e-​mailed them 6 times and received only one response from my first e-​mail. I was told they’d come back out but I haven’t seen or heard from them in weeks.
I feel partially responsible because I should have been outside watching every move they made so I told them I’d pay some additional money (not the total cost to replant the tree because they were expensive) to have the tree moved a foot to the correct location however I feel they’re partially responsible because they screwed-​up the location. Finally, we’re both responsible for not clearly marking the correct location with spray paint but regardless who’s at fault they have yet to make any attempt to correct the problem.
Based on my experience I do not recommend using Andrews Landscaping. They’re quick to take your money but won’t follow-​up if there’s a problem.
