Buyers be aware! This place will scam you, tell you about a worry-​free return policy and never honor their policy. Double check all receipts before you leave this store. There are many add-​ons they will try to pull.
I tried to resolve the matter with Jon. 1^st attempt, he hung up on me after a 8 min hold. 2^nd attempt, I asked for corporate’s number and he refused to give me their number.
Only do business with the original Verizon Stores, NEVER a third party retailer. Verizon will not acknowledge any business from these stores.

I visited the store last week for some explaining on my plan, my pleasure to meet Ben Brown he is really helpful and have a good altitude
Therefore I left the store with a big smile on my face

I was in this Verizon store August 11^th and had the best customer service from Jacques.
He spend hours with us and we walked out with lots of Apple goodies – empty pockets, but extremely happy. Best customer service and attention to detail.
Triple his salary. He runs that store, working with us and directing staff – we still felt he was focused solely on us.

I worked with a very helpful girl named April. She was fantastic… very knowledgable and helpful. Being from Chicago, when my son broke my phone out here in DC I panicked… not knowing where I really was out here. The entire staff was so friendly and it really felt comfortable and fun there. One man, who worked next to April helped entertain my two toddler boys too. I had to make it a point to come and write a review since they are what made me choose this location and I couldn’t be happier.

Great service! Jacques helped me switch over from ATT. As a result I have way better cell service and it was easy! Jacques helped me get the best plan for the cheapest deal and really went above and beyond. Highly recommend! Thank you.

A Verizon authorized dealer that has an outstanding customer service ethic throughout. The team is led by manager, Jacques Matthews, truly experienced with a great sense of humor. I walked in to find a team smiling and laughing but was immediately greeted with «how can we help you today?» Between having Jacques and April find what I need and ensure that I would walk away a very satisfied customer. By the end of the transaction, I felt like family, sharing stories and photos and being invited back with the family.
I already recommended this store to one other person… she knew about it but there are others who might not. Go out of your way to find this store. Right between Del Ray and Potomac Yards… you will walk away as a valued customer and friend.

First off, they are an authorized dealer, not a Verizon store! I should’ve wrote this review back in December, but life was busy and honestly, I did not want to give them another second of my time. My husband ordered an IPhone 6 32 GB white phone as an anniversary gift. They had it in the store and called me to pick it up (oops! Surprise!!) 48 hrs later, we showed up on jan 1 to retrieve the phone they said was there and lo and behold, they could not find it. Jim, said it had to be sent back because it was broken, didn’t bother to contact me in the meantime before I went down there. I asked why I didn’t receive a call, he didn’t even look at me and said «I don’t know» (while staring at the computer screen) I knew they were lying and had given the phone to someone else. I got up and proceeded to walk out the door. Not even 5 minutes on our way home, my husband gets a call indicating the same phone was in their store if we’d like to pick it up. We were contemplating giving them business, and my husband said he would give them a call in a little while. He gets a call back informing him that they had already sold the phone to someone else. I have never had this type of service, in fact I was ready to switch carriers because of this then found out they are not a Verizon location. Terrible service a waste of time and will never purchase anything from them again. Such a shame as they are close to home and my husband I usually upgrade at the same time. Go elsewhere, I beg of you! You will be happy you did!

Beware! Predatory sales practices sold my very senior parents into an expensive 2 phone contact. The smart phones are far too advanced and they can’t use them, even to call. They should be ashamed of their con of senior citizens.

Fantastic experience at this store. We decided to shop here after a pretty unpleasant experience at a large electronics store (that I’ll leave nameless) across the street. Ben, who I presume is the manager, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on the phones my girlfriend and I were interested in. She decided to go with the new iPhone (sheep) and I was stuck between pre-​ordering the new Galaxy S6 or the Note 4. Ben knew the answers to all of my questions and helped me make the right choice (Note 4). He even showed me some tips using his own Note 4. I’m glad we decided to shop around before making our decision and I’m glad we stopped at this particular store. Thank you Ben, you’ve earned a customer for life!

I had my phone die on me and received a new one recently. However, I did not have my pics and texts backed up. My other phone wouldn’t power on for me to perform the backup. I took it in today and had excellent, professional customer service from Kai. He was able to power it up log enough to not only backup my data and transfer to my new phone, but also wipe the data from my old phone. I was extremely impressed with Kai’s professionalism.

This is my 2^nd Unilocal review. The first review was bashing the corporate Verizon Wireless store in the Pentagon City mall for the worst retail experience I’ve had in a very long time. Feel free to take a look at that review… It was liberating to write.
I digress. I had to give credit/​thanks to Mike, at Cellular Sales for giving me an experience that was at the polar opposite end of the spectrum. I was greeted immediately at the door and Mike was apologetic for the employees at the corporate location. He asked what I needed, and I told him the situation. Short and sweet, I needed a new phone, upgrade wasn’t for another 13 days, customer service had agreed to upgrade early but i didn’t have the correct status as account manager, etc. All was solved and I was out the door with my new phone in the mail 25 minutes later. What a great experience! Skip the corporate store (especially Pentagon City) and head to Cellular Sales for the best experience.

I was dreading going to upgrade My Verizon phone and discuss billing !! Lucky Me came to this store Ben helped Us, it was simple He was great patient and kind My husband wanted to exchange for a different phone I again thought oh My! good news came back Kai helped Us again lucky Us what a smooth and easy transaction He also is a great multi «tasker» He was able to make my transaction and other customers quickly and professionally. If U are in Alexandria come to this Verizon ask for Ben or Kai serious they are the Best I like Verizon again !!!

I recently received a new phone and it was saying that there wasn’t any more storage on the phone even though there was more than enough. Long story short, Mike (a fellow Jimi Hendrix fan) was able to help me with my phone as well as, give me more tips on how to utilize the various apps.
I would definitely recommend this place because the customer service top notch and Mike was very knowledgeable about the product.

I’ve called this store twice to ask about upgrade plans. Both times the sales associate was rude and condescending. I’ve been a reliable Verizon customer for years — I’ve always appreciated their service. This particular location does not do their brand justice. I will be taking my purchases to a different Verizon location.

Great customer service. Kai was very knowledgeable and helpful. I came in with my boss because we were running errands for our office and he helped my boss upgrade his phone with ease. i will be back for my iphone myself and kai assured me he would take care of me. This is the type of place you want to come when having questions with your phone. Definitely recommend them.

I wish I could give this place less then one star!!! They are awful… They have no idea what they are doing and are not associated all the version stores which makes it life even more difficult! The first time I went there I thought they were helping me and the ended up screwing up my plan and adding more money to my bill each month! I

When I first moved to Alexandria, VA I had to pay my phone bill. I found this Verizon Wireless store that was perfect from a location perspective since it was right down the street. Soon as I went in I was greeted as normal. However, after I told them I would like to pay my bill they handed me off to another guy. I told the guy I wanted to pay my bill but as I was talking to him he seemed very distracted. Every time I was talking or he asked me something he would look away distracted then had to ask what I had said. Defintely was not impressed. I’ve been a Verizon Wireless customer for YEARS and have never dealt with this. Funny that this was really my first experience since moving to VA. Unfortunately it was a bad one. I was actually kind of mad to the point where I wanted to go back and say something, because it turns out when I paid my bill they didn’t even pay it. They used the wrong number. I love Verizon, but if your going to this one, use precaution. Maybe that guy left, or is fired and its fine now. Or maybe not.

I have dealt with Verizon locations at the Crystal City Mall and at Union Station. And this location makes those guys look like a bunch of turd vendor dirt merchants. I came in after physically destroying my old LG phone after it had frustrated me with a series of cut off calls and battery deaths. I left with a new iPhone and a new example of outstanding customer service.
The salesperson I worked with, Justin, was very helpful in assisting me with importing my old contacts to my new phone and organizing all the necessary paperwork.
Everyone in the store seems to enjoy their jobs and working with one another. I was able to talk baseball with a few of the reps., as business was a little slow when I came in. In most Verizon stores, it seems as if everyone would much rather be someplace else!
I would definitely come back to this location for future dealings with Verizon. I was very pleased with the many options that this location had and their high level of customer service.

I am still smiling from my experience at this location… no…like seriously. I wish all of my visits to actual Verizon Wireless (or any carrier’s) stores in the past were half as pleasant as it was at this «authorized dealer.» The atmosphere is cheerful… but definitely not lacking in great professional, customer service. I hadn’t been to a Verizon store since 2007 (when I terminated my contract with them) and was left with a bad taste in my mouth since then.
Maybe I scored by walking in on «Customer Appreciation Day» because I was greeted with balloons… lol… and, most importantly, eager assistants. But I have a feeling the atmosphere there is always this cool.
So I came in for a Mi-​Fi (Verizon’s Wi-​Fi Hotspot device) but left with it AND a Motorola Razor Maxx… and I have NO regrets (no buyer’s remorse today). My rep (Ben Brown) worked out an AMAZE-​BALLS deal for me and took out all (and I mean ALL) of the hassle in terminating my Sprint plan, porting my number, and transferring all contacts, photos, and get this… TEXT MESSAGES! —No.for realz… who does THAT? Anyway, just had to share my experience because i’m a huge sucker for «genuine» customer service and have to sing the praises of businesses that go out of their way to make me happy :)
I met ALL of the guys (Ben, Sean, Pastor Justin, Dan, Joel and Jacques) and gal (Erin) in this store and each of them added to my experience in their own unique way. Never been this thrilled to sign a 2-​year contract with ANYONE. I seriously feel like I’ve gained an entire family who will take care of me throughout the term of my contract… and hell. maybe beyond: D
