What started as a store for painted furniture has evolved into my go-to place for, well everything: guest towels, picture frames, jewelry, gifts for graduation/birthdays/Christmas. The women who work there are as eager to help for a $ 30 item as they are for a $ 300 item. And I have to say, that after the bustle of Old Town, walking into this calm oasis of neutrals is good for the soul. My three teenage daughters love it as much as I do. Best-kept secret there, besides the FREEPARKING, is the clothing: chic neutrals that are airy, elegant and timeless.

Coco Blanca is one of those off-the-beaten-path stores in Old Town Alexandria, off of Union Street. Not only do they have beachy/fresh furniture and home décor items, they also have cute accessories and linen clothing. They used to have a location out by the National Harbor, but they closed and opened this location up(they’re about a year and a half years old). I really like their scarves and the tops, as it’s neutral colors, but makes you look all ‘fresh and clean’ :D The SA here was sooo lovely, and she’s more than happy to assist you in finding certain items. A cute store to check out!
