Lucia has worked with my hair and mother’s for a couple of years now, and I can’t say enough of how amazing she is! She knows exactly what she is doing! She’s all about customer service and making sure that she fully understands what the guest is looking for. The shop is absolutely adorable and it’s right in the heart of Old Town Alexandria.
If you’re ever in the need for a new do and some amazing color, go see Lucia! I highly recommend this salon. You will not be disappointed!

I have been going to Lucia for years and I’ve never had anything but a positive experience with her. I was so excited when she opened her own salon. It’s located in Old Town Alexandria, just a short walk from the King Street Metro. The salon is bright and beautiful, and the products are great. Lucia is always friendly and professional and she does such a great job.

I have been going to Lucia for years when she was at Aveda. I found her when a friend had an amazing cut and collar, and she had highly recommended Lucia. Her new salon is really nice and has great products. Lucia has always given great cuts. And she has been relaxing my curls with a texturizer, which is the exact same product that Aveda uses. While I was there I watched the other stylist give highlights, color, cut, and style, and he did a fabulous job too.

I’ve been dyeing and cutting my own hair for years because I could never justify spending the money to get it done and have always had bad experiences, someone every hair dresser made me age 10 years with a haircut. Then I saw my friend with the most gorgeous hair cut and got Lucia’s card, and I couldn’t make an appointment fast enough! I came into the salon with fried, home bleached hair and a horrible cut. I went in for a root touch up, color, cut and treatment and I can’t say enough amazing things about the magic she did to my hair! It’s absolutely stunning and she directed me to the right products to keep it beautiful! I can’t recommend Cualtzin Salon enough!
