My gas furnace stopped giving off heat. The tech who came to my house was professional and did good job. He found that my furnace needed a new ignitor. The charge for labor was reasonable ($ 130). The charge for the part was $ 210. After the repair, I checked the internet and found that ignitors cost $ 20 – 25. Therefore, I think the $ 210 price for the ignitor was unreasonable.

They did a full furnace install for us about 8 years ago and have serviced it since. They are very honest and upfront about costs, potential problems and solutions. Reasonably priced as well. During the furnace install we also were having a separate problem with our A/​C unit. Chuck spent 30 min fixing it with no charge and advised us that it could hold out for another few years instead of trying to sell us a new model (it still works today). Also, had them out to service the furnace last year after it seemed to have some glitchy performance. They spent about 30 min looking it over, made a minor adjustment, didn’t find any other problems and didn’t charge us. I’ve recommended them to family and will do so again.

Not entirely impressed with the boss, Chuck, who does the estimating. Tom, the crew chief, was amazing in replacing our heat pump /​air conditioner. Neat, polite, just wanted to please me about the location in the back yard, etc. We had used Air Treatment in Vienna for years and switched to Delta a few years ago. Definitely recommend them!

I should first say that I am rating on sales pitch! I recently had them come out to my condo in Arlignton and the gentlemen proceeded to huff and puff and sigh his way through the free consultation. I was told of the lack of space, that he would have to lower the A/​C unit with a machine… so on so forth. I understand explaining what they have to do, but not like this is the worst job he has ever seen and what a hassle it going to be for them. Before we were all done he is writing notes still huffing, states to me «If you haven’t gotten any quotes back, then you will be wildly amazed» proceeds to continue writing as he shakes his head. I have had 3 other salesmen from other companies… and I have never felt like my situation was a burden to them. I was not impressed. Most ratings are for the work, which I can’t talk towards since i will never get there, but to be honest the sales… is severly lacking and if they aren’t good you probably won’t see the tech side of the business.
