Dina Divine

I have been seeing Dina for about a year for hair services. She’s really great with creating that custom color. She has worked hard to give advice to ensure my hair is healthy and can handle the demands I place on it daily. She also lets me know if a look I desire is currently out of reach, based on my hairs health, but how I can achieve it in the future if I desire. Make an appointment to see her though because she’s very busy.

Let me start by saying I have really fine curly hair and I am really picky about who I let touch it.
Dina is magic with hair. No. I mean it. I have always been thrilled with my color and she somehow makes it look longer every time she cuts it! We worked our way from basic colors to the most magical fantasy coloring.
You want to feel like a badass goddess, she has you covered!

Dina is my beauty guru. She seriously just wants her clients to look and feel beautiful. I love that all I have to do is sit down in her chair and let her do «whatever» and I come out looking and feeling like a million bucks. She’s straight talking take no prisoner genuine type of person with amazing skills. Love her! And you will too!

I found Dina through a colleagues beautiful hair color. Dina was a true professional. She knows her craft and she understands what is best for your face shape, personal style, skin tone, etc. I’m Indian and have naturally dark hair but I always wanted to try color without it looking like I «colored my hair». I asked Dina for burgundy/​aubergine all over color + highlights. On my first visit, she gave me a subtle, beautiful color, but told me that I could come back if I wanted to amp it up. I played with it for a couple days but decided I wanted bolder color, so she let me come back for no extra cost. She punched up the color and now its gorgeous. I highly recommend Dina for any/​all hair types. She’s a perfectionist in all the good ways that means best results for the client!

Dina is the best!!! I have fine blonde hair, it was so easily abused that I could never grow it out and still have it look good. Until Dina came into my life… Though past experiences with some of «the best» in various major US and foreign cities left me initially reluctant, after my first visit to Dina I realized that I can trust her completely to do whatever she thinks is best to my hair. She has provided every kind of hair service and whatever she does comes out great — every time. You have her undivided attention and as such, she is accurate, fast, and efficient = no mistakes and fabulous hair with enough time left over to show it off. I purchased a Unilocal deal with Dina. I was a bit apprehensive however Dina is pretty cool and just got right to work on my hair. She was able to take care of my lackluster color, non-​existent volume, and do volumized style under an hour! Very Very happy with my hair. I definitley will return

I’ve had eyelash extensions done previously but Dina’s talent and expertise is second to none. She is a true professional, honors her word and truly talented. My appointment flew by, and although I am 9 months pregnant, Dina made sure I was always comfortable and positioned correctly. My eyelashes look amazing, natural and flawless. I highly recommend Dina for any service, she is a perfectionist and I guarantee you won’t leave her salon unhappy!

I found Dina because of a friend’s hair — beautiful color, beautiful hair is an understatement. The first day I met this friend I blathered on about her hair. She said «go to Dina». So I did. I cannot come up with words as to how good this fabulous woman is, and I am never at a loss for words. I walked out with the best hair of my life. All I did? Sit there and let her do whatever she deemed fit. I got a cut and color that suited me more than ever before and I never verbalized what I wanted — I just trusted she would give me what I should have. Also the first stylist who has ever told me «to be the perfect length your hair needs to be longer». YES, thank you. I am usually fending off people trying to cut it shorter… and shorter… and shorter…
Dina joked she might move to Europe. I told her I would go to her in Europe. She may have been kidding. I was not.

Dina is by far the most talented stylist I’ve ever experienced. I have been going to her for almost four years and have had multiple keratin treatments, haircuts, conditioning treatments, and color glaze done. I always walk out looking great and now my entire group of girlfriends go to her as well. Her color work is incredible and my keratin treatments always leave my hair looking shiny and naturally straight. On a personal level, Dina has always been super professional and I love chatting during my appointments. As long as I’m in the DC area, I will be a loyal Dina client and would recommend her to anyone!

Dina is a Goddess & made me one too! This is only the 2^nd time I’ve had great hair in my life. And this time is amazing! I’m even gonna post a selfie on FB! Love ya Dina!

I have been going to Dina for 5 years. Her highlights are the best I have ever had! She really cares about her clients. So many times she has worked around my schedule and fit me in even when it meant canceling her plans. Back to my highlights, they always look natural, never with streaks. She always asks if I am happy with the way they look& of course I am. Dina recently gave me a keratin treatment and I love it! She answered all my questions and made sure I understood the process.

Dina is the most fabulously talented color goddess/​hair extravaganza stylist. I’m from the South and thought I knew what blonde hair was suppose to look like. After seeing Dina for the first time, I was not only blown away by her knowledge and insight of hair/​color/​cut but also her attention to detail coupled with her fashion forward style. It’s safe to say I’m not going anywhere and highly encourage anyone who’s looking for a style Goddess to seek Dina ASAP!

My sister was in town for the holidays and wanted to donate her hair to Locks for Love. Dina was able to squeeze her in the Saturday before Christmas and took her beautiful long red hair and made it a gorgeous bob. We were nervous about the dramatic cut but Dina made her look fabulous.

I have been going to Dina for a couple of years now. I think I have gotten almost every service she’s offered– Eyelashes, hair extensions, color, make up, blowouts, etc. Dina not only does my hair, she’s taught me how to care for it (I had no idea before). It is better and longer than ever! A list of pros and cons is below for easy reading.
PROS:
My hair has never looked better, been healthier, and every time I leave the salon I feel great about how I look.
Dina is FAST. Last week I got sewn in extensions (takes FOREVER), color, deep conditioner, flat iron, and blow out, and it ONLY took a little over two hours. I hate sitting in the salon chair all day, so this is a huge plus for me.
She’s very knowledgeable and will recommend to you which products to use (I use many of her recommendations with great success), will give you tricks and techniques, and explain to you how to use the products. Last night, we actually went over what oils to use and how to properly oil my hair.
She appreciates all of her clients, and totally will take care of you, especially as a loyal client. That’s all I will say, but once you start going to her you’ll see what I mean.
With every service she has provided, I have gotten tons of compliments, from both friends and strangers, people usually notice it right away. No one ever asks me if I have extensions though, because no one can tell!
When I got the eyelashes done, they lasted for weeks. People who knew me noticed immediately, but commented on how natural they looked. Someone who hadn’t seen me in a long time asked me what vitamins I was taking for my eyelashes to get so long. if that’s even possible.
CONS:
I am not able to go to her every week! :)
Medina is by far the best stylist I ever had, and I highly recommend her to everyone. It’s totally worth it.

Dina did an amazing job with my eyelash extensions. I’ve never had eyelash extensions before. I wasn’t sure what I wanted exactly. Dina did a great job with the consultation. She advised what type of lashes would work well for my eye shape. My lashes turned out so pretty. Someone at Sephora actually mentioned how my lashes were naturally long. Needless to say, I did not correct her. When I’m back in town, I can’t wait until my next appointment with Dina!

Dina is excellent after I found her and check the reviews I booked a appointment on the same week, which I couldn’t make it she was kind enough to reschedule for the next day, the time wasn’t the best for me so as soon she got a open she call me and I got the day and the time I wish for,.
Find her place was easy the parking is rigth underneath the building she greeting me at the door took me to the chair offer a nice cup of tea and she went to check on my hair, told me what a need without pushing it them she proceeds to do her magic, while she was treatment my hair she made fell comfortable and special she really knows what she is doing .
I got a amazing hair and a great salon to go back to and a my next appoiment!

I absolutely love my hair! Dina really knows her stuff; she’s very knowledgeable and passionate about her work. She took everything I said into consideration and addressed all of my concerns. My aunt has been cutting my hair since I was kid and, after moving to the DC area, I had to come to terms with the fact that I would need to put my hair in someone else’s hands: Dina won this one! I’ll definitely be coming back for all of my cuts and I’m planning on heading back to let her do my color in a few weeks. She gave me a full consultation complete with explanations and suggestions and even talked me through the cut to show me exactly what she was doing and thinking. I look and feel lovely, thanks Dina!

I just got my new extra-​long blonde extensions… LOVE them!!! Dina puts them in so quickly, she can do a full head in an hour. Plus, they are clamped in, not sewn, so easy to tighten and adjust. She colored them specifically to match my own hair, and hence they look so real and natural! They are AMAZING!!!

I can’t say enough about Dina! I’ve been a client of hers for awhile now and I’ve followed her as she started her own business. Why do I love her? Not only is she a fun, friendly person — she’s amazingly talented. She always knows what my hair needs and while she has oodles of other clients, I always feel as if she’s giving me her undivided attention. I can’t imagine not having my hair in her hands!
