Good store I come here frequently, they have a good selection but usually if you buy a charger or headphones here don’t expect them to last more then a few days. They have good candy for good prices, they used to have a lot more available but they probably weren’t making much on it. Some of the stuff like the cards are kind of over priced, but for the most part it’s a pretty good deal.

This place is great for fun, quick, and entertaining gifts for kids and tweens. I also find a little something to send to my niece and nephew when I visit here. They are also oddly on when it comes to seasonal merchandise. They put up early and are ready for the next festive holiday before you know it and all for under five dollars! The one thing I love and hate about the store is that they have a LARGE selection of t shirts, however they are exchange only. So if you don’t like it, or the person you buy it for doesn’t like it, oh well. Discount board games, trinkets, clever t shirts, candy galore, and items you’ll use a few times and then forget you have — Five Below has it all.

Not your typical«dollar» store. If you’re a candy fanatic they have everything including the classics from your childhood. Great store for things you can’t find anywhere else.

This is my favorite Five Below location. I like coming here to get my iPhone/iPod accessories they have a LOT of them. Come on the right day, and you can really luck up on some good deals. Some of the accessories they sell are sold way more elsewhere but they go quickly.

Humor me on this one… So I feel like a *giant* dork for writing this review [well, either that or a tween…], but I had my first encounter at a Five Below this weekend, and my life has forever been transformed. Yes, for the better. Stop shaking your head at me. I get into the classroom on occasion. Behavior management? NOT my forté. Bribery, on the other hand? Got that down pat. So I bribe the kiddies with Five Below prizes. Five Below is like children’s crack. They hear«Five Below», and they will sit still, get down to work, raise their hand, stand on their heads and cluck like a chicken if you tell them to. I have a friend whose 5-year-old cousins, when they come to visit her in Rockville, all they want to do is visit her local Five Below. And she has a Chuck E. Cheese in her ‘hood! This Five Below is a great one. Good sized. Overrun with bribery tools. Those Japanese erasers and Silly Bands adolescents seem to love are everywhere. Grow your own pirate, or dinosaur, or polar bear. Soft Redskins footballs. Chinese finger traps, glittery lip gloss, jumping beans, Silly Putty, Slinkies, jacks, coloring books, magic tricks. And everything is – wait for it – $ 5 or below. Not only does this place make children squeal with delight, it *actually* carries stuff for adults. Who knew? I literally dragged husband kicking and screaming along with me, but when we got inside he was instantly distracted by a retractable micro USB charger and I was able to browse in peace. They also carry«real» makeup like Maybelline and Revlon at dollar store prices. Greeting cards, a nice selection. Yoga mats and soccer balls. Earbuds, cell phone accessories, DVDs. Notebooks and office supplies. Colorful assorted storage bins and baskets. Any and all kinds of candy your heart desires. And on our visit, their Halloween section was HUGE and impressive(once husband tired of the USB cable, the wax fangs kept him blissfully occupied). The major drawback to this location is, well, its location: the reviled hinterlands of «Alexandria» down Route 1, in a strip mall so large and confounding to navigate it could be Mall of America’s little sister.
