Hermitage Hill

This is my third review. We now have Brandy working in the front office and we just passed a significant inspection by Mrs. Ward from the Inspector General’s Office of the City of Alexandria. Because of the diligent work of our new Assistant Manager, Brandy, who speaks fluent English and Spanish, we now have a newly repaired main road leading into and out of the Apartment Complex, we had a crew of shovelers who helped to clear the snow off of the parking spaces after the Snow Apocalypse (including Michael our Apartment Manager who joined Felix, Heraldo, and residents from all 11 buildings,) as we quickly returned the apartment complex to a functioning commuter center after record breaking snow fall totals.
There was a leak from the roof into my apartment and a team was recruited to shovel the roof on all 11 buildings and my ceiling was patched up the next day. Its a nice neiborhood and when the going got tough with the Snow, the residents showed that we have Community Spirit and pitched in to help the Maintenance staff to recover from a once in a Century Snow Storm that will be talked about for many years to come!

I’ve been here only 3 weeks, just moved from out of state, and saw this place online which was near my job and schools. I am already regretting it. Criminals everywhere in here and the office doesn’t care about the residents safety at all. I’ve had to contact management NUMEROUS times about verbal harassment of other residents, had the police out already 3 times for stalking, sexual assault, and my car being vandalized. I am feeling terribly unsafe and management doesn’t give a shit. I will be moving within the next month along with a lawsuit. I bought a dog and had to get my gun license to even feel safe here. I am always looking over my shoulder and having to look over my entire apartment when I get home, even with the door locked all the time! WORSE PLACE EVER… BEWARE!!! DON’T RENT HERE, WARNING!!!

Car got towed and management said they they could do nothing about it. Overpriced. Balcony door handle broke on first day. People steal clothing from communal washer dryer area. Mailbox broken into. Car hit by hit and run. Rental office frequently unavailable. Maintenance tries to break into apartment regularly. Spit and urine in front of the building on a regular basis after 5 on Thursday –sunday.
