The dentistry performance of the staff and the dentist were satisfactory. However, the secretary and administrative performance at Dr. Grubbs was the most barbaric and terrible process I’ve ever encountered. The secretary who is angry and mean informed me the insurance company won’t accept the charge, that information is missing when she was submitting the claim. When I asked did she clarify what info is missing that the insurance company requires, she explains they don’t call insurance companies(isn’t that their job?). So now I am in their office, calling the insurance company who is informing me that they need to speak to the dentist staff/secretary and can provide easy clarification to fix the issue. The administrative staff still refuses to assist and wants to charge my credit card instead. My solution to avoid this kind of mindless banter from the elderly mean secretary who can’t hear anything you say and belittles a clients is — meet my attorneys. So now I will email Dr. Grubbs(who only has a @yahoo.com account from 1996) with my attorneys cc’d to facilitate a process that should otherwise take 7 minutes. Unless you want to pay cash or credit card here, don’t expect to have Grubbs DDS work with your insurance provider.
