Friendly, courteous, and talented. With so many mediocre nail salons, Jolimia stands out with its excellent quality and reasonable prices. I’m definitely coming back (and I don’t commit to salons easily)

I had an excellent gel manicure experience at Jolimia Salon. It is a a smaller, cozier salon that I was not expecting at first, but it was a very welcoming atmosphere and the employees were all really nice. I went here because of a groupon I purchased for first-​time customers, but will certainly be returning soon to take advantage of their summer specials. I also loved that they are down the street from my house and there is parking… something not easily found in the Arlington area. Thanks Jolimia!

My hubby surprised me with a birthday mani/​pedi here and it was fantastic! Rissel took great care of me and my nails. She was overall very sweet and was patient with me when I didn’t like the first polish color I picked out (it was color changing and I didn’t like the color it changed to). She made me feel very taken care of. The place itself is very pretty and everyone I encountered was kind. They offered me a beverage when I arrived which is always s nice touch. I will definitely be back again– I’ve already signed up for a makeup class that Rissel is teaching in July! (I’m always up for picking up new tricks!)

Great experience. I’ve purchased a Groupon 2 weeks ago for a shellac manicure and I loved it. I went back today and the experience was very pleasant. They take their time and pay attention to details. My new favorite manicure place. Plus you can tip on your credit card!

Let’s start with: I have a thin and fine Asian hair, and haven’t had highlights in years. After reading the good reviews on here, I decided to buy the groupon for a full highlights and cut. But still. I went in there feeling nervous about trying out a new hair salon.
The staffs were nice, I was offered coffee or tea, and the hairstylist (sorry I didn’t ask for your name, nice lady!) came up to me. I told her what I wanted: Highlights without bleaching, more layers, no more than 3 inches to cut. She suggested me few color choices that would look good on me. 2 hours later, voila! Love love my new hair!
What I like even more is. They didn’t try to sell me hair products! 5 stars!

Khadija did bayalage on my hair and I am so impressed with her work! She matched the picture I showed to her exactly and was a lot of fun to work with. I cannot wait to come back to her again!

Went for a pedicure. They didn’t have the traditional oversized foot tubs. They used a store bought foot soaker that didn’t fit my feet. The chairs didn’t have the nice plush feeling and was kind of blah. And the smell of hair products kind of made my experience a little not so nice.

I purchased a Groupon deal for this place for full color, cut, deep condition and blow dry. Khadja is brilliant. She completely transformed my hair. I showed her a picture of the cut I wanted and she copied it pretty much perfectly. The staff was very friendly, including the owner, who brought me really good coffee while I was waiting for the color to set. Highly recommended. I felt very comfortable and welcomed.

Khadijah was absolutely amazing!
I bough a Groupon for Jolimia. I was new to the area and in need of a fire color touch up. I am always hesitant to try new places, especially with a groupin, for hair, but Jolimia did not disappoint. Everyone was super friendly, Khadijah, my stylist, was quick and efficient and gave me exactly what I wanted. Prices can’t be beat for this service!

Since my first review, Claudia the owner fixed my hair free of charge, for which I am very grateful. My hair looks much better.
To reflect on Caludia’s comment, I think the language diversity is great too, like I said, that didn’t bother me, but when I was trying to explain myself, the stylist just said «yes yes, i get it.» But something was lost there. I am not a stylist, nor do know the techniques of doing hair, which is why I seek professional services and advice. So when I explain an outcome I desire, but I booked the wrong service, I don’t mind being corrected.
In the end, everyone was very nice and accommodating. It was just a big miscommunication.

Maria is the best technician for your mani & pedi if you’re a sensitive, picky and not-​easily satisfied customer.
She adjust her style to make sure you’re satisfied and she really does take her time to make sure you’re happy with her service. I mean it, she does REALLY take her time when she knows there’re customers she can catch.
The salon’s mani & pedi price range is way better than any other places in this area which helps me to come more often. Parking is very easy and I love the fact that I don’t have to walk long after my getting my pedicure.
Maria can be more detailed of not painting over cuticles so that way, her beautiful job stays longer! I love this salon and their free wifi is bonus!

Just got the most amazing gel manicure from this hidden jem! I bought a Groupon for a gel manicure and will be going back. After arriving and checking in, the receptionist showed me available colors which included color changing gel polish. I decided on a very dramatic option of white with glitter to black with glitter depending on your body temp. When your body temp is changing it results in this awesome ombré effect. Totally impressed with their selection and service. My manicurist was so polite asking if I wanted a beverage and even testing the color on me to make sure I truly wanted the color changing polish. She did a great job and we shared with each other our love of pastel hair. I will be going back. Maybe for pastel hair this time

I bought the groupon for a gel manicure. It was $ 26.
I had some trouble finding the place – it’s in a business center that doesn’t face the road so you’ll never see the sign. You have to drive in to the lot and look for it from there.
The salon itself was underwhelming. Nothing special but looked clean and like many small salons you might encounter.
The girl who did my manicure was AWESOME. From start to finish it to 25 minutes and it’s honestly one of the best looking gel manicures I’ve ever had! I’ll definitely be back again soon!

This was my first gel manicure and I LOVE it! My best friend and I went had a blast. The technicians were skilled, helpful, and fun to talk to. When we are ready to remove the color (in three weeks, fingers crossed), they will remove it free of charge. I’m also confident that if anything should need fixing, they will do it no problem. Highly recommend.

NEVER AGAIN NEVER!!!
My girl and I had such a bad experience that it left us dumb founded how people actually come there. We found them on Groupon made an appointment a week in advance only to get there and said you don’t have an appointment and we have no interest in making one at this moment. This was coming from the woman Claudia. One of the rudest females I have dealt with. Another rep saw a time slot available and she quickly told her no I’m not going to have time so no. Claudia tells us oh you can just call groupon and they will just refund the money back. She could honestly care less about our business she just wanted us to leave. Knowing well enough that the issue was a fault of their own. Rude woman and shameful establishment.

Bought a Groupon to get a mani and pedi for $ 25 total. Staff is really nice and friendly. This place is really personable. I made a same day appointment. Walked in 30mins early and the nail tech, NIKOLE greeted me really nicely with a smile. She made sure i was well taken care of. Did a French mani and pedi free handed and it looks awesome. She pays close attention to tour needs and cares about her clients. She is really into providing good service and knows her stuff. She has 11 years of experience and is very sanitary. I found my new nail tech.

I have to write an update and let you know that the salon’s owner reached out to me and offered to re-​do the treatment free of charge and to do it herself.
I declined. I’m working full time and enrolled in three accelerated classes at GMU right now. Every spare second is spent with my nose in a book or hunched over a laptop.
Only fair to make mention of the offer, though…
