Keepers

I worked for this agency briefly in 2006. I had to leave an assignment without giving a two week notice. I was unable to give more than a one week notice because I was in a bad relationship and had to leave the area for my safety. When I called them to see if they had any assignments in 2015, they asked me for my social security number, and then told me that because I had left the assignment in 2006 without a two week notice I was ineligible to work for them ever again.

Keeper’s granted me with a great opportunity in the IT field to help start my career. Their team of hard working individuals were driven to help get me a position that was the right fit. I have recently became a full time employee with the company I started with as a temp and I owe Keeper’s a huge thank you for their efforts! Although I’m no longer with keepers I will definitely keep in touch and visit, there office was a all around great environment !!! Thank you again KEEPER’s!

Horrible company! Was guaranteed to start working, came in & was told I got a low score on one test that resulted in no job at all. I’ve worked customer service for over 3 years, I don’t think a test determines my credibility.

Defective operation staffed with folks who are very poor communicators. Told me they were giving my resume to the CEO and then there was never another single word. Group of sad little young girls running this thing. Boo! Hiss!

Ignore the signs in the window that says «Start work today!» You won’t. Ignore the promise of 30 hours per week every week. Won’t happen. Ignore the bogus test scores where I got a nearly failing basic math grade (I have a master’s degree; I think I can figure out postage costs). Ignore the low-​ball rate they offer. You’re worth more than that. Forget about the fact that you have to call every day by 4 pm, only to discover they don’t have anything for you AGAIN. You’ll hear them scramble to find an excuse. Ignore the crap directions they gave me to the ONE assignment they managed to beg up for me, which lasted 1 day. Ignore that you spend a chunk of change coming in to the office before being sent to the other side of town for your assignment. Ignore the busywork they had me do one day — they have a notebook full of it – just to say they got me work.
Ignore all this, and Keepers looks pretty good.

Keepers is full of it… I submitted my resume after seeing positions advertised on Monster and other job boards. Keepers first didn’t get the attached resume so I was asked to resubmit it. That was a first indication they weren’t too smart. After a review, I was contacted and told that Keepers was only interested in people with recent experience as in within the past three months. Forget my over fifteen years of experience in the corporate world I have.
After reading other reviews of this so-​called employment agency, it was a blessing in disguise that I was never hired to work for them. Seems this agency is only interested in hiring young kids since they can get away with paying them next to nothing and jerking them around with the promise of a job. Stay away from Keepers… they are all about the bullshit.

Terrible experience! I took the admin aptitude test and provided them with my resume prior to my appointment. The better staffing agencies would verify all documentation prior to scheduling an appointment. This one did not. Ironically I was contacted by them stating they found my resume posted online. I made the trip to Alexandria (about 27 miles). I was told that my scores were in line with what they look for, and then proceeded to look at my resume. Problem. One that could have saved me the trip if they had actually reviewed my resume and asked one question. All of a sudden I was being told that the pay would be low because of my inexperience. When I stated that I could not possibly live in this area for that amount, they actually started to haggle the hourly rate! Downright ridiculous. I was told they would contact me on 6÷16÷15, and they did not. If this isn’t unprofessional conduct, I don’t know what is. Bottom Line: they will push you more into temping than temp-​to-​hire or direct hire asking that you be «open» or «flexible». Also, if you are a professional do not expect a professional environment. You will be interviewed in a large open area where everyone can listen.

This company posted a ad on craiglist. A rep called me and asked me a few questions, then transferred me to a recruiter who asked me if I had experience in a certain area, I thought he was asking more so sales. So I mentioned a sales job the recruiter then said that’s not what were are looking for sorry and hung up in my face. Before I was transferred the rep said that they could look into other positions too. I didn’t get a chance to ask because I was hung up on. Also called back and informed the original rep and all she could say is she was sorry like she didn’t care.
