I probably should have stuck with the bread items, because those looked yummy. However, on a hot and sticky day, I was drawn to the chilled bakery items. That wasn’t a good choice. My flan was not good, mainly because of the dense and almost chewy texture. Flan is supposed to be smooth and creamy; this one was not. The cream cake with fruit was very forgettable and nothing I would want again.

Wanted a quick pick me up and this place did the trick! They have a nice food menu. I decided to try Baliadas for the first time. It was tasty, wish it had been a little warmer. Coffee was just… Ok. Didn’t dare try any of the breads as they don’t look fresh :/The staff is very friendly and they’re all ladies

Shopping center is a bit sketch for ladies alone at night(unless they know martial arts or are packing) but think it might improve a bit as some new stores move into the area. Ross just opened in the center next door. The restaurant is very clean and nice inside and focuses on Salvadoran breads, pastries and sandwiches primarily. They do have breakfast as well… want to check that out. Recommend the quesadillas, papusas and tortas. Need to try their cake because it looks great! Prices are great. Food is very tasty! Ladies working there are always friendly. I’m a fan!

I have found my go to spot for breakfast, possibly lunch as well. This bakery is clean and the workers are very welcoming. I was greeted in Spanish so at least know how to hola. I got their croissant sandwich it was really good. I’ll try their typical foods next.

Coming into this place made me wonder whether it was too good to be true. Could they have good food and such a clean place at the same time?. Route 1 has Mexican and Central American restaurants that have good food but look grimy in Cleanliness. This place scores an A+ in cleanliness and the food is amazing. First bite took me back to a childhood memory taste from my grandmothers cooking. So far I have tried 4 items from the menu and I’ve been satisfied so far. For the real authentic central american taste… this is the place. A+ in cleanliness and an A+ in taste.

Just dropped in to check out this bakery/café after a taco stop next door at Tacos El Costalilla. I think it’s new, since I have no memory of seeing it last time I was in this shopping center, but I could be wrong. Their baked goods selection was well stocked, and everything looked delicious. I went with the pan de dulce and the cookie that looked like a palmier. Both were delicious. The pan de dulce was moist and just slightly sweet. And the palmier was perfectly flakey. They also serve food, and I will definitely be back to try their breakfast and maybe some pupusas.
