Took a tour on this boat recently and I gotta say, don’t do it at night when it’s approaching autumn… because ooooh man, it gets COLD! If you don’t mind that, don’t forget to bring a jacket. The ride here to Georgetown wasn’t bad, took about 40 minutes, and they also have a concession stand. $ 2 for sodas and popcorn and $ 3 for water if you get a bit peckish. Anyways, it was cold and the staff members wanted to pull down the plastic coverings so the wind doesn’t end up freezing everyone on board. Well, a few of them didn’t get strapped down properly and that definitely defeated the purpose. I did a roundtrip which costs $ 26 per adult, I believe it’s around $ 12 for a oneway. Anyways, it was decent. Oh, and I gotta say, one of the staff members was quite rude with my husband when he asked him a simple question, so I wasn’t thrilled with that. That’s a negative point for service.

We had some time so we decided to take this boat tour of the monuments. We had previously taken a bus night tour of the monuments which was wonderful. The boat was well organized and went off well. The only issue is that it was not a very good tour of the monuments. We had hoped to see them closer from a new perspective but they were all in the distance and obscured by trees etc. There was a good narrative and the boat ride went well but it was not a great monuments tour.
