I haven’t been here for awhile but Michelle was my «barber,» for about a year before I found my permanent barber to take care of my haircuts.
She isn’t your typical hair cuttery butcher. She knows what she’s doing and does a clean job every time! Being fluent in Spanish also is a huge plus for her especially since her main cliental are all Hispanic.
Go here if you need a good haircut, you won’t regret it!

Very happy with the way my highlights with color, cut and style came out! Yamileth did my hair and she is very professional in her customer service and does a great job with my hair! After a few bad experiences with my highlights at other places in VA i finally found my to go person. What a relief!

Michelle is awesome! My parents and my family (me, hubby and 5 kids age 19, 18, 13, 7 and 3) all get our hair needs from Michelle. She has cut, colored, straightened and styled our hair for 15 years now. Even though we move quite often (active duty military family), I make it a point to have my hair done whenever we visit (yes, even when we lived overseas in Okinawa, Japan I would wait until we visited home to have our hair done by Michelle). Prices are also very affordable. — In addition, Ping Pong does excellent nails. She is clean, careful and thorough. She always does a wonderful job. We are always very pleased with the services we receive at Michelle’s salon.

I really like getting my hair cut at this place. All of the girls that work here know how to cut hair (I’ve noticed that most of them have male clients) I also get my eyebrows done here. They’re really patient, they wash your hair and after they touch up whatever you ask them to. The price is very good — most places charge men $ 20+ for their cuts but here it’s $ 16/​$ 17 which is good. I would recommend this to any guy looking for a good barber — I’m sure that the ladies here will do a good job for women too!

I absolutely love this hair salon! It’s definitely a no frills looking place, but don’t let that fool you. It’s one stop shopping for me getting every 4 – 5 weeks: hair color/​highlights, cut, manicure/​pedicure, waxing. My hair is extremely difficult to color but Michelle is spot on every time.

I had a great cut done by Michelle!!! I have been looking for a hair stylist for years and basically go to someone new every time I need a cut because I haven’t found anyone that does a good job. Michelle did a great job and I was not bored during my cut, I will be back for sure.

I absolutely love Michelle! She has been cutting my husbands hair for about 20 years now. My parents have always gone to her salon as well. My husband finally convinced me to go a few years ago and I won’t go anywhere else! The first time I sat in Michelle’s chair I just told her what length I wanted and that I wanted to go lighter. I let her pick the style and color. She did an amazing job and I’ve been going to her since! Every time I get my hair done I get so many compliments! Last year she did the Brazilian Blowout and it lasted over 6 months! I just got it done again today and once again, she did an amazing job! I hate having to straighten my hair and with the blowout it looks like I have it professionally straightened every day! I’ve recommended her to some friends and they love her as well! I recently moved to the area and was looking for a place to get my hair cut. I checked out Unilocal and read the rave reviews about Michelle’s and decided to try it out. I LOVE my hair. My husband LOVES my hair. I cut 8+ inches off to donate to Locks of Love.
So I called a few days ahead and made an appointment to get my hair cut with Michelle. I showed up for my appointment, and found the salon full of eager customers. Michelle herself came over and got me after a few minutes, then she washed and conditioned my hair. Michelle is so funny and personable. I felt like I was chatting with an old friend as she was cutting and blow drying my hair. Not only did she cut my hair exactly the way I wanted, it turned out better than I expected! I’m coming back, and I’m bringing my family with.

I decided to try something new. Negative. Never will I do that again. Shampoo was terrible. And she didn’t even ask how I wanted my hair. So I guess she assumed because I was black that I just wanted it straight. No I like body! I mean I got what I paid for. Hair is bone straight. So she did a good job with that I guess if that is what you like. Then she said, you should get Keratin. Umm negative… I have pretty good hair I must say so. This pic shows for itself how it normally looks.

Finally a place where my whole family can get our hair cuts and styled. Friendly environment. Great for kids. Fair pricing. All around great place. See Michelle she is great!

This is my second visit here and I can’t say enough about Michelle and her crew. Got my daughter’s haircut today for the new school year and the ladies even braided her hair for no extra charge. Michelle is so charming and fun and Everyone has complemented me on her cut. And while you’re there, get a pedicure. Best pedicure I’ve ever had.

Known Michelle all my life, she’s the best around I know and I really really recommend her.

This is a great place for a haircut. I get a #1 /​#2 and appreciate a straight razor to finish up and they do it well here. I’ve had 7 or so different women cut my hair and 6 of them were great. They are quick, detailed and friendly. I would highly recommend Michelle’s.

As a guy looking for a good haircut, I have found my go-​to place. I’ve been coming here for haircuts for over a year now, and have always received great service. I’ve only had hair cuts with Michelle, who is also the owner. She’s fast, friendly and professional. The only other service I’ve had is a shave with a straight razor. Ruby does an excellent job. Afterward, she says I have a smooth face «like a baby».
Walk-​ins are accepted, and I’ve seen the waiting area lined up with guys on Friday and Saturday afternoons. There’s a large waiting area and flat screen TVs. The prices are listed clearly on the wall out front. Most of the staff are fluent in both Spanish and English.
To beat the crowds, I come early in the morning and call for an appointment. Guys come here for the reasonable prices, quick turnaround and the bevy of attractive women working at the shop.
