Senia was so rude to us. Kept yelling at us and packed our stuff to go when we were planning on staying there to eat. It was my first time there, i was trying to see what they had. No one was in front of us and no one was behind us. The place was empty so i don’t know why she was so rude and angry.

Clean establishment, services was friendly and fast and the prices were affordable. The burrito I order was great! Definitely adding this place to my favorite restaurants! Highly recommend eating here!

I decided to try Moe’s after having given up on it years ago(and because Chipotle was having their holiday party and had closed early). Immediately after eating, I remembered why I started my love affair with Chipotle. At best, the food was bland; at worst, the rice was crunchy and nearly took out a filling. The portions were paltry compared to other local taco/burrito/tex-mex food joints. The staff served guacamole and sour cream with a sad little soup spoon(like you have in your silverware drawer at home); and, in an unintentional scene out of Oliver!, three times my dinner companion had to ask for more(rice, chicken, and sour cream) — they’re definitely stingy with their servings. Going in I knew it wasn’t going to be Chipotle and I wanted so badly to love it, given it’s close proximity to my home; however, disappointed doesn’t even begin to describe how I felt eating it(first world problem: there are few things worse than ordering takeout and being dissatisfied once you’re home and there’s no one to complain to — except Unilocal). Perhaps it’s just this location, perhaps it’s Moe’s nationwide — I’ll never know because I won’t be back. The only reason I gave two stars is because their queso is still consistently delicious.

I went to Moe’s finally after years of never going to one despite having one near me no matter what city I lived in. Despite my research, I still forgot to get the FREE chips! This location opened up recently and I wanted to try something different. I can only take 20 min lines at Chipotle for so long before it becomes annoying. On top of that, Chipotle keeps raising their prices while the food is starting to bore me. No variety. High costs. Time for Moe’s! The menu at Moe’s is like a formula sheet for calculus. I didn’t know what to get and trying to find the right bang for your buck is tricky. I decided to get a steak bowl for my first time. The bowl is similar to Chipotle, but a lot more«fluffy». They don’t pack the food and next time I will try to make sure they do. I didn’t get much steak either so I wound up heating up some chicken and dicing it up at home and putting it on top of the bowl lol. On checkout, I was asked for a drink. I said no. I was then asked if I wanted chips. I said no. I wondered why the cashier looked at me funny, but I found out when I got home. FREECHIPSANDSALSA with EVERYORDER! Next time I will succeed! P. S. I waited 0 min to make my order. A huge plus!

The food was great. The employees were polite and professional until I saw them outside smoking and cursing on their break 5 minutes later. Too bad they have to smoke outside on the benches. The PetValu was having a Grand Opening with the doors open and tons of people outside. All we heard were Moe’s employees on break cursing and smoking :(Great food inside though.

My husband and I walked by their sign advertising their Monday burrito lunch special for $ 6.95 so we decided to meet up for lunch to take advantage of the deal. The set up is similar to Chipotle. You get to pick what you want inside your burrito(or whatever the item that you select from the menu). The burrito that I had was really big. I ended up with leftover that was my dinner as well. The salsa options at the salsas bar were good. I tried several of the hot ones and I thought they were tasty.

I had the chance to preview this location and am happy to report that as of our visit last week the food is as good as I remembered. We went back after trying to visit the new Wegman’s Pub and deciding against waiting for 45 minutes. I particularly liked the quesadillas and queso dip and my wife loved the guacamole. The staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

I really enjoyed the food I had last night, specifically the guacamole(might have been the best non homemade guacamole I have ever had). I got the impression that everyone who works for Moe’s really likes their job which frankly is a nice change when compared to some of the attitudes(and long lines) you get in places like Chipotle. It appears that the Moe’s in the northern VA area are owned by the same group of partners which frankly is a nice thing because I believe it leads to consistency. To my fellow vegetarians, Moe’s does have options for you including fish tacos(if you’re a pescetarian) and salads with tofu. I was surprised and happy that the learn how customizable their menu is. I don’t think I would have jumped to go to this location had it not been for the soft opening and learning about their menu last night. A fun fact I learned about Moe’s last night, is they only play music from dead artists(before leaving for the night I heard a couple of my favorites from the 90s that brought me back to flannel shirts, being originally from the northeast).
