Mt Vernon Car Wash

I stopped in here on Sunday morning. The crew stole my ear buds but gave me a broken pair to throw me off their trail.
The car was mostly clean but I paid for the works and tipped. Don’t leave anything in your car. I won’t tip next time.

They stole the handicap pass out of my car and some change in the cup holder. Then forgot how to speak English when i went back for it. If you wonder why there is never a line when you drive by its because its not worth it.

The car wash was good but after hearing about how the employees are treated, I will find another!

They stole $ 50 from my glove box. Never coming to this place again.
I looked in my glovebox as soon as I drove off from the car wash and realized the money was missing. I KNOW FOR A FACT it was in there because at the previous light I donated a few dollars to the firefighters boot donation.
I went back, but of course all the low life’s that work there said they didn’t do it. I asked the owners son for a refund and he said he couldn’t because he pays to much in rent and taxes! Really???

My student son went to have his car washed today in preparation for becoming an Über driver.
He spent $ 20 to have his car cleaned well, no way. He came home so upset and had to clean and vacuum his car right after it had been cleaned. a total waste of his money and time.
I called to let them know he was upset and the guy hold me we will do better next ime. I told him we would never return but would go to Unilocal.He said, no please don’t do that, I said too late.
Please do not go here, a waste of time and money.

Seemed ok, I came, I paid, they washed.

Nothing special but nothing that bad.

This place is OK. Sometimes they do a good job and sometimes it is lacking. My biggest issue is the people that manage the counter feel the need to engage in conversation with me about their personal lives. It is so awkward.

DO NOT GO HERE! I have lived in this area for over 20 years and have been using this car wash along with 2 other vehicles in my household almost bi-​weekly during the warm months. I have a Cadillac Escalade and pay an average of $ 40 per visit on the wash, tip and air fresheners. The service has been mediocre at best however for a quick run through I have dealt with it. I’ve overlooked the fact that I have to go behind them to improve things but I used them as a means to initiate cleaning my truck up.
Today I just left Firestone getting new tires and my state inspection. Windshield wipers are part of that inspection. Firestone did a walk through of my car before I left. Everything was great. I left there and came here to get a car wash. When I left I immediately noticed my windshield wiper was flapping in the wind and the medal was poked up into the air. It was clearly damaged here by the machine or their personnel. I made a quick U turn in front of the store and returned within seconds. I politely approached the owner Sue who looked at it and walked away from me, not saying a word. Confused, I followed her inside and she saw I was waiting. She waved me off rudely and said talk to my husband. I walked him outside very politelyexplaining again and showed him what happened. Explaining to him that I just left getting a state inspection and drove straight here. I would have noticed the flapping immediately as I did leaving this car wash so I know it happened just now.
He said we have a sign outside. I asked what did that mean. He said read it. Which was rude. He walked away from me. I grabbed my wallet and showed him my frequent cards which one was filled full and the other was half full. I explained to him Im a frequent customer and not someone trying to get over on him. I just wanted an acknowledgement and an idea to assist with this problem that they caused. I would have accepted a free car wash, hand full of air fresheners or to go fix it and bring back in my receipt. He offered NOTHING and kept walking away from me.
I said Oh so you aren’t going to do anything? He shook his No. I made sure I calmly told everyone who was sitting there that they damaged my wiper and didn’t care about it. He got smart with me and asked If I needed a mic. WOW! Great customer service… NOT!
So lets do the math. For my truck alone, $ 40×26 weeks a year on average for 20 years is about $ 20,000 in car washes and that’s not to mention the other 2 cars we also send there. To fix my wiper it was $ 18. So they lost about $ 20,000 for the next 20 years for $ 18. I don’t think their math nor decision making is very smart. Not good business people at all.
They are rude, lack customer service skills and do not take ownership for their responsibilities.

DON’T GO THERE!!! I just got my car wash on my way home I notice that my windows, and dash had not been clean. I purchased the Gold service and my tires were dirty. When I call the establishment to complain the rude lady Sue answered the phone when I explained my dissatisfaction with their service she said I should of complain before I left. Then I called back to speak with the manager Sue claimed she was the manager when I asked for her last name she said that they will give me a free car wash the next time I came back I told her no I just want her last name so I can report them to the BBB. She hung up the phone on me. When I called back no one answered the phone.

no stars if i could help it. went to this place today, paid almost 17.00 for nothing. went through the wash after my car was pull around front. the guy that pull it around got out and that was it. i went out to ask whose working on my car. the owner ran out and started to wipe it down. he did a horrible job too. i went inside and saw that my mats werent even wash. i took them out and ask if someone could wash them for me. the owner again had to do it. i eventually had to ask for a rag to wiped down my car myself. dont waste your time nor ur money at this place. dont say u havent been warn!!!

I got the $ 22 Platinum Package, and it was pretty lacking, they didn’t wipe the dash or the console or really anything inside the car. The guy who did the wheels and the tires did a great job; otherwise, it was a poor job, and I won’t go back.

The worst car wash i have ever been to, they can’t distinguish between dirt or dust. Unprofessional staff, they keep looking at every car owner if they put a tip in the box or not, if so maybe they’ll smile if not forget you get the car clean. Even so the car is not dusted properly or even so dried off the water. Such a simple task becomes a mission impossible. TIP: Make sure you look around the car before taking it. Expensive for a cheap car wash.
