Our experience at this Pier 1 store was absurd, and we will never shop there again. My husband and I purchased 3 nightstands from this store and rented a truck so we would have room in our car to bring them home. When we got home, one of the nightstands in the box was destroyed to the point it was unusable(it was strapped securely in our car, so we are 100% sure the damage happened in the store, not on the ride home). When I called to ask how they would replace it, they said they would give us a «discount» for our trouble but that we had to bring back the nightstand to their store, and that we had to travel to another Pier 1 store to get a replacement since they were out. When I pointed out the fact that we would have to spend more money to rent yet another car to bring back the nightstand and that a new nightstand should at least be shipped to us to save us the trouble of their mistake, they said there was nothing they could do. It took them an hour to explain this on the phone. Long story short, we paid the extra money to rent another car, and then went to the store at the time we told the staff we would arrive. Believe it or not, the staff had taped a handwritten sign on their door saying they were«opening late due to technical support» We left the nightstand at the back of their store because at that point, we were too furious to wait for them. We’ll also be contacting the head of Pier 1’s customer service. This is one of the worst customer service experiences we’ve ever had.

A great secret but they sell jewelry in the back of the store and I’ve bought several nice sparkly attractive rings. I get lots of compliments on them :)

Pretty seasonal decorations! And really clean and organized well. Even clearance corners are neat. Great job! I did not see many customers. You can shop here peacefully. Free parking lot is in front of the store.

I would give minus five stars if app would allow. I spent $ 500 today. I waited 15 minutes in rain waiting for employees to place the furniture in my trunk. Carlos and his helper busted my item while placing it into my trunk. I called them after realizing the damage at home and they said they have provided my 10% discount for other visible scratches on furniture and cannot help. I disagreed and they provide me Natasha’s, the store managers availability on Monday to further dispute. I definitely disposed the 20% discount coupons and will NEVER go to spend any money at Pier1 again.

The only positive about this Pier 1 is the large parking lot lol The staff is alright but not really acceptable for Pier 1, uninviting attitudes. They make you feel like you’re putting them out for asking a question.

I would give this place negative stars if that was an option. They used to have a very professional management team that went out of their way to be helpful. Now it feels like I am visiting detention hall on a high school. Children for staff and a totally clueless manager(Taneka?). My outdoor patio set came with so many chips dents and tears it was pathetic. The store manager was rude and the staff clueless. Back to C&B for me. No more slumming down market at this disaster. I wonder if they sell garbage because they have bad staff or is the staff the pits because competent people won’t sell garbage. Do yourself a favor and SKIPTHISDISASTER.

Never buy candles from Pier One. They are inexpensive and attractive — which has resulted in my multiple purchases — yet the candles never last more than halfway of their length, when they stop lighting altogether. You can put a barbecue lighter on the wick for 30 seconds — no ignition of the wick. Total waste of money. Yep, this is a trivial complaint, and a high class problem to have, from some perspectives, if you think failed candles and shopping at pier 1 is high class — but a product is a product, and it’s supposed to function. And candles are not new technologies where the bugs need to be worked through.

Great experience. Staff went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I needed for a gift and party I was planning.

The best Pier 1. It’s packed full of delicious goodness. And I mean packed. Like dangerous for boisterous kids and my friend thought it was kinda too packed. I call it a perfect 5 stars. Other stores should take note of their decorative ideas and product displays.

If you want to lose a sale, this store will definitely tell you how to do that. I had purchased some silk panels from here a couple days ago. The curtains were really great so this review has nothing to do with their products. When I looked online there were coupons for Pier 1 imports which I figured I could use and get the price difference back. I went to this store again and the store clerk said they couldn’t do a price difference b/c the item is not on sale. I explained to her that all I’m going to do now is return the item and then buy it again. She said she couldn’t. To give her credit, she did ask the store manager. This store just lost a sale because I ended up returning the item and will now buy it from somewhere else. It’s not like this store is the only Pier 1 Imports around.
