I have been trying new ways to get my exercises in lately because I get bored quick. I hate working out and I’m not even ashamed to say it. I never had to work out in the past, but as I get older, I have developed a few extra curves that I want gone… and with my family history, I want to be healthy. So with that being said, yesterday I stumbled upon Polerized as I searched Unilocal for new ways to work out. I called them immediately to get into a chair/floor class that was starting within the hour. I wanted to go immediately so that I wouldn’t change my mind. Polerized is located in a residential neighborhood in an attractive large white house. At first glance, the studio is very small and has about 5 poles in the front room. I arrived, signed some paperwork, and learned some new moves that I’m sure my boyfriend will appreciate. The instructors are super friendly, and motivate you when you start to feel a little silly doing the moves. I knew that I still had some energy left, so I decided to stay for the Pole 1 class that started immediately after. If you decide to do one of the Pole classes, make sure you wear shorts so that you don’t slide off the pole. You can grip the pole better with your bare skin. I ended up using the 10% off Unilocal deal and purchased five classes. I consider $ 76 a small investment towards my fitness goals. The fact that I am motivated is priceless to me. This is not like going to the gym, but if you are a woman looking for something different to do in between regular workouts, give Polerized a shot.

Polerized was my first introduction to pole. I took advantage of the free 30 min session and was hooked! Rebecca and Kari are awesome instructors, and consistently challenging me. The experience has improved my appearance, self-confidence and athletic ability … and the best part is that it doesn’t feel like a workout. Thanks for the fun!
