Small store but RadioShacks are hard to come by now-a-days.

It’s a small store but well organized and clean I was greeted immediately and help for about 15 minutes before i gave up. She did her best to find the product I was looking for. I will definitely be back just because of the service.

The store is empty, no customers, not much merchandise, only one associate who was in the back. I was not able to find the audio splitter I needed. Left empty handed and disheartened. Will this chain survive?

Absolutely an awful experience with little to no support from customer service representatives there. Went here looking for a an audio cable(you know, from radioshack) and not only was I not able to find it, the customer service representative had not event heard of the cable when I asked him. Ended up leaving, and finding it at Target in Potomac Yard.

sales associate talked me out of verizon insurance and into apple care… he informed it covered absolutely everything and there was no reason to keep verizon insurance when i could get apple care. i even asked about lost and stolen and he said it was covered. sure enough– it isn’t. called to explain the situation and as expected customer service was horrendous. i guess it serves me right for actually shopping at a radio shack in the first place.

I’m not sure I know anyone that specifically goes to a Radioshack to shop for anything other than miscellaneous wires and adapters, or to kill time in a mall while they wait for their film to develop back in the 90’s, but I should point out one valuable service that Radioshack offers. They have a trade-in program where you can bring in old electronics and trade them in for store credit or discounts on new products. This is nice because you really shouldn’t throw away old electronics due to the hazardous elements and whatnot. I swung by the other day with an old, old computer and, though Radioshack’s computer system was screwed up at the time and I knew I likely wouldn’t get much in return for it, they were happy to take it off my hands to recycle it and/or dispose of it safely.
