Although I hate driving all the way out to the Ft. Belvoir area, so far this is the best place I’ve found in Alexandria. The grooming prices are the same or slightly less than other groomers in the area and he does a really good job.

I took my cat here for the first time yesterday. Let me start off by saying she is incredibly difficult to brush much less actually full on groom. We had gotten prescribed sedatives from the vet but the groomer asked that we not give it to her. I thought it was commendable but I was a bit concerned. I don’t know how he did it but she came home looking great with her lion cut! I saw no clipper marks at all. The only reason I’m giving a rating of 4 stars is because her tail was not clipped at all and the hair growing between the pads of her feet was not clipped. Overall I am pretty satisfied and the price was very reasonable.

I drop my dog here for bath/nails/ears…this place is the best… this gentleman is so good with my dog, and you can tell he really takes pride in his work and cares about the animals. The pricing is more than fair. Couldn’t give a higher recommendation! Great find right in the neighborhood.

The staff were friendly and professional. They knew what they were doing. I wouldn’t go there again, but only because of the price. I wasn’t too concerned with that when I brought my two siamese cats in, but I paid for that in the end (literally). $ 70 per cat to have them bathed, nails clipped, and ears cleaned.
I’m very satisfied with the service. The little ones are definitely softer and smell better. Their nails are great and just all around clean! I just can’t bring myself to pay $ 140 every couple of months. I hope this helps! :)

I just picked up my two cats from Rags to Riches and their Lion Cuts are FABULOUS! Very even, no clipper marks and their manes are very soft and luxurious. I think the cats know they got good hair cuts because they are prancing around the house with their noses in the air.
The whole experience with Rags to Riches was great! It was easy to book the appointment and the staff was friendly and professional. I highly recommend.
