Went in right when they opened on a Sunday. We shared crispy spring rolls, good but average and roti caini, different but very greasy to start. For mains I had kapow, which I asked for extra spicy and was pretty tame with chicken that tasted as if it didn’t have any seasoning and was microwaved. The other main was pad Thai, again same issue with the chicken and not spicy (even though requested) and overall a bit bland.
The staff left the service a bit below par, nice but as we were the only people there a bit more attention would have been nice. Overall, okay but probably won’t be going back

Ordered a VO Manhattan with a lemon twist, straight up. Got a cherry and a lime twist. It was at least straight up but not icy as it should be. Strike 1
Outside service is very badly organized with inside wait staff over taxed making outside delays long. Strike 2
Waiter wiped out my sushi plate on my shirt. I spent 20 minutes scrubbing it out with wet wipes they provided. Did nit offer dessert or drink or anything. Strike 3, no tip.
Kapow Chicken was excellent.
Sushi was fresh, taste was spot on.
Food cannot make up for service. Will not be back.

Round 1 goes to Red Curry in Old Town Alexandria
Décor was nice and intimate and trendy
Service for some reason was slow, the waitress was not very friendly, but the other waiter was nice and picked up the slack.
Food review
Sushi was good and fresh, decided on different veggie rolls and was impressed.
Crispy Flounder with Chili Lime sauce was pretty damn good, the fish was nice and light and didnt have a strong fishy smell. the Green beans that was fried in tempura batter was pretty good too.
Veggies Mussaman had good reviews from the non meat eater half
one thing you can not leave here without having is the Ginger Lemon Ice tea, that thing is off the hook and is my new favorite! sorry Thai Ice tea but you have been replaced for now.
The only reason why I didnt give it four stars was because of the waitress, she was not friendly and was pretty damn slow!
other then that, I would go back again and recommend others to go.
