Sally Beauty Supply

I went today to get few things to color and highlight my hair. HOW IS THIS PLACE STILL OPEN!!! I went and received a greeting of «can you move your in my way» as I was selecting hair dyes. I didn’t buy anything. One worker snapped at another customer telling her if you can’t see then get some glasses as I walked out. This was my first/​last time in there and I won’t ever tell anyone it’s there.

The staff here is extremely rude and unhelpful… Would I come back or recommend this location, ummm NOOO…

Ok so I had a coupon for Sally’s and stopped over at the Plaza at Landmark Shopping Center where for some reason I went to the larger Kirei’s Beauty supply store only to realize it wasn’t Sally’s sad face. I went back to my car to leave when BOOM I saw Sally’s across the shopping center and rush on over there in excitement. This Location is probably the smallest I’ve been to (2 aisles) and I really didn’t take a look around as I went in for hair extensions. Not only had I received an email announcing a free extensions case with the purchase of hair extensions but there was a Sally’s coupon RIGHT ON THE DISPLAY. I had to ask for assistance, which excuse me staff girl for «bothering you» and making you move 2 feet from the register to retrieve them for me because of the security lock you guys have on them (which wasn’t the case at the Sally’s in Kingstowne). I asked/​reminded her of the deal and she was all «oh I dunno, we have to wait and ask»…Yo chick, it’s RIGHT THERE! Like IN FRONT OF YO FACE and I GOT PLACES TO GO (like get my grub on at honey pig down little river turnpike sheesh)
I only came to this location because I was in the area but I most likely would not come back here on the regular due to the small selection and lukewarm service and uninformed/​unaware staff.

Since I was on this side of town, decided to come here bc Freestyle beauty supply didnt have what I was looking for. We came in, were not greeted by anyone, no one gave me any fliers, I guess the associates’ crazy convo w/​their friend about fighting must’ve been more important… I found what I needed & I just wanted to get in & out. The cashier asked me for my payment before even scanning my items. wth lol?!
The parking lot in this shopping center is the worst esp. on the weekend cuz the folk driving in the area probably had a different form of driver’s ed than you… The service I had here was ratchet & would not come here when the sun falls!

They do need to work on their manners here but their selection is pretty good their is a better beauty supply store in the same shopping center (Freestyle beauty) so if you make the stop to sallys you gotta try Freestyle too. Their shampoo «collection» is a little underwhelming but they do have many cheaper knock off’s that work pretty well (tea tree oil) and such.

I’ve been coming to this location for a few years. About a year ago, I started noticing how crappy it’s getting. RUDE employees that openly berate other customers as soon as they leave. They’re the most unhelpful people ever. Don’t bother asking if they have extra stock in the back. I got a «no» as she walked by me quickly. Don’t bother calling in either, the woman over the phone isn’t interested in checking the shelf for you. (Even if the nail polish shelf is RIGHT in front of the register) They’re incapable of keeping items like chignons in stock… like ever. You would think that since they’re selling so much, they would order more? Nope!
I’ll use this Sally’s if I’m in the area and need something simple like bobby pins.

I went here on a weekday and parking was super easy. I was greeted immediately upon coming in to the store — and even given a circular with coupons for weekly specials (great sales tactic, I think.) I was left alone to browse (maybe a dangerous idea) — and was in and out quickly. This is a smaller Sally shop than I’m used to — but I found everything I needed (and many more things that I wanted!)
